Not great, not bad
The best perk of living at S9 is that you will share a complex with many of your classmates. My apartment itself has tons of light and high ceilings, but is a bit dated. If I didn't live here I would live at B9, but as a FY MBA student you can't go wrong at S9.

Expensive for Durham, NC but nice facilities
The facilities are relatively nice and I have enjoyed my time at Station Nine, although I do think the rent is incredibly overpriced. The Clubhouse is a bit small so if you're trying to crank out some work or hang out with friends over coffee - Berkshire Ninth or the Berkshire Main apartment complexes are better suited.

Great location, older building
Management is attentive and helpful. Great location - close to Harris Teeter, some restaurants (from casual like Happy and Hale to fancier like Juju), bus stop to Fuqua, and plenty of Fuqua students. Compared to other "Fuqua favorite" buildings, the S9 complex and apartments look to be on the older side re: construction and finishings, but it's not bad.

Station Nine - The place for Duke MBAs
Love my experience with Station Nine. The staff is highly communicative and helpful, the rent is reasonable, and our apartment is delightful. I also love being so close to my fellow classmates and being able to walk to 2 grocery stores and countless places to eat. Would make the same decision given what I know now.

Good location
The apartment is more or less good: great location, a lot of students. But the apartment itself is not as fancy as some apartments in this neighborhood and amenities are not so rich., sometimes it could be noisy here. However, the price is cheaper, so it is a good offer.

Good rental experience
I've really enjoyed my S9 experience. The management is responsive, the apartments are spacious and hae a good amount of storage. Having in-unit laundry is great! Though there's a few rowdy days by the pool in the summer, the apartment complex is quiet and secure.
The only annoyance is that the windows are cheap, making insulation a challenge. Your AC or heat will run constantly, and apartment units near the street are noisy. If possible, try to get an interior facing unit to avoid some of that problem.
