Station Nine reviews and highlights
- close to bars and great for hosting
- maintenance requests are answered promptly
- great place to live
- small gym
- a little overpriced
- great pool in the summer
- conveniently located
Eh
The place is nice because so many of our classmates live here. Otherwise, its *that* nice, and the corporation that owns it isn't really looking to make accomodations or work with you on anything. They require a 60-day notice to move out, charge punitive month-to-month rates and are still student unfriendly when the neighboring properties go out of their way to work with students (month to month leases, summer accomodations, etc).

Convenient, can be peaceful or social, depending on what you seek
Station 9 - practically a dorm for Fuqua students. Convenient (close to Harris Teeter, Wells Fargo, and a whole host of other restaurants), has shuttle bus and Duke Van that brings students from and to Fuqua, a pretty good gym and definitely great for mingling with fellow Fuquans! Also a convenient meeting point for late-night team discussions since almost everyone lives there.

Great Place to Stay in FY
S9 is where most of Fuqua students live. Slightly expensive but the value of living with your classmates is priceless especially when you are beginning you MBA journey.

Fuqua lives here
The main reason I live here is because other Fuquans live here which makes it very convenient to meet and schedule meetings.

Station 9 - best place for Fuquans
While not the nicest apartment in Durham it is conveniently located between "downtown" Durham and Fuqua and across the street from Harris Teeter. Also, since at least 60% of FY students live in S9 the social aspects far outweigh the lackluster management and average amenities.

Great for graduate students
Although it doesn't have the best amenities, S9 is a great place to live while studying at Fuqua. Most of the students live here, so it's very easy to schedule meetings or social events in the building. It is also in a great neigborhood: you have everything you need at a walking distance, the Duke bus has a stop very close to it, and it's close to downtown. For people who don't want to spend too much money and want to be comfortable (in all aspects), S9 is a great place to live.

Like living in a club
If you are OK with extremely loud neighbors and feeling like you live in a dance club on weekends and even week nights, this is the place for you. Management is incapable or unwilling to deal with loud tenants.

S9
Good place to live - easy access to ninth street and many other students live nearby. Approx 25 min walk/5 min drive to school.
