Station 9 - Convenient
If there is one word I would use to describe Station 9- it would be "Convenience". There are carpools galore, the grocery store is right across the street, it is on the H5 Line that drops you off in front of Fuqua, plus- over half of your classmates are your neighbors making it extremely easy to get out and be social. The 2 bed-room I share is large and good for hosting groups. We happen to live in a back corner unit so we do not get a lot of noise and can enjoy more quiet evenings if that is what we want.

Great location and good for social
(+) indoor parking, 24 H supermarket, near Fuqua, close to most of the social activities.
(-) Noisy, dirty, dark and old building.

A fun grown-up dorm
I love that all of my friends are nearby and that I'm close to bars and restraints and harris teeter. It's not super fancy but the staff is very nice and professional. It's probably a little overpriced, but worth it if you count the social aspect.
Don't live near the pool unless you're cool with the noise.

Come to S9
S9 is a great place to live as a Fuqua student. Seeing each other on a daily basis helps to enhance the overall community and I'm extremely happy I decided to stay here.

Ok - but could be cheaper
The Station Nine apartments are ok. I wish they were better value for the high rents. The only advantage of living there is that a lot of Fuqua folks are your neighbors and Harris Teeter is close by. I have a one bedroom loft apartment and the storage space and the kitchen are incredibly insufficient to be functional. I would recommend a large one bedroom layout to the 1 bedroom plus loft set up if you are planning to live alone or as a couple.

Great Place for Duke Student in Durham
The apartment is very spacious and well lit. Station Nine community feels very safe and you have easy access to grocery store, right across the street.

Great place for Fuqua commuity
Nice place where majority of Fuquans stay. Close to 9th street, supermarket, and downtown.

Location in S9
When selecting a room, check out the map to see if you want to face the street, Harris Teeter, pool or courtyard (this will determine noise level in your apartment!)

Great Apartment Close to Fuqua
Station 9 has exceeded my expectations. It is close to Fuqua (10 minute drive or bike, 30 minute walk). The apartments are very nice, though the kitchen may be a bit small in 1 bedrooms. You have your choice of carpeted or concrete floors (which are quite nice). The building itself is clean, and noise generally has not been an issue. The pool is great in warmer weather, and the facilities have a gym and half court basketball court.
