Love Baity

Would definitely recommend! 5 minute walk to class and so nice to not have to worry about signing up and paying for utilities and internet. Parking available in covered garage. Spacious apartment with large bathrooms.

Best possible deal

Baity Hill is an excellent place to live. The convenience of living close to the school is enormous. The rent is cheap and includes all you need (cable, internet, utilities, maintenance). The structure of the building is much better than other apartments off-campus. At Baity you will have a building that is not made of wood (less noisy), all buildings have elevator and indoor parking ($500 per year - also cheaper than most places); these features can only be found in more premium and expensive places off-campus. Really the best possible deal! Come to live at Baity!

Baity Hill - Best option for Internations

Baity Hill is the best option for international students. Everything is included in rent and apartments are 5 min walk from the school.

Facilities include water, AC, Internet and Cable. The security systems are great and maintenance staff appear within a few hours of calling them. Good spacious and clean rooms with decent kitchen.

Only downside is Parking needs extra payment. However living without a car is very easy as there are Buses and P2P service starting at Baity Hill.

Good

My housing complex has had problems with water damage due to pipes bursting from cold temperatures (not in my apt). Otherwise a tremendous value.

Wish i wouldve lived here both years

Baity is awesome for families. With big bedrooms, it works for me and my 2 young children. We saved 400 per month by moving here from Carrboro. Plus, we could downsize to 1 car since I now can walk to KFBS. We love the playground and the quiet area. Moreover, we can pay rent with a credit card when loans run dry in december and april.

Best possible apartments for KFBS

I am a full-time student at KFBS. These apartments are an amazing value and couldn't possibly be anymore convenient regarding a commute (3-5 min walk). Very secure and underground parking is available.

1900 baity hill drive

The only thing that I don't like in my apartment is that there is just one bathroom that I have to share with my roommate. Everything else is good. The walls let the sound pass, so If you don't have a good relationship with your roommate, it may cause you a little bit of stress sometimes.

Getting around Baity Hill

Baity Hill Reviews

55 reviews
Baity Hill is tucked away on aside Street that comes up next to campus. The only neighborhood is the actual apartment complex which is full of International students or students with families. The normal homes nearby seem calm and safe to walk by. It's a great area being so close to campus.
They are friendly, kind so I feel safe in my apartment.
Some of them are noisy sometimes, but basically, I am not bothered so much.
Love the complex and surrounding area. Very “neighborhoody.” However, very dark at night, not many lights.
Its campus so you get all the benefits but still removed from the undergrads which is really nice.
Quiet, peaceful, easy access to campus, highway and Franklin St
It’s a cute neighborhood to walk around. Feels very safe.
Baity Hill accommodates singles, couples, and families, and the neighborhood is very diverse. There are common areas to meet within the community, and you have great access to different areas of campus. The area is very safe at all hours, with minimal noise. Grocery stores are just a couple of miles away - you can get there by driving, convenient public transit, or the UNC shuttle service.
It's very quiet: mostly graduate students and some families. Very convenient for getting to McColl. It is tucked away in the corner of campus so if you want to walk anywhere, it takes about a mile to get into campus. I would recommend having a car for this neighborhood since there are no grocery stores within walking distance.
