Great First Year Apt
Belmont was perfect for my first year, especially since I didn't have a car and needed to walk to campus! It was only about 20 minutes total to get to my classes. I also love the complex itself, there's study rooms, a great gym and a beautiful lake that we can walk and sit around whenever we like!

Affordable and Close to Campus
Belmont has a back gate you can walk out of so it's only about a mile from Duke med school. It's really just as close as the Lofts. It's an older building but much more affordable compared to nearby apartments. The apartment is homey and maintenance responds to requests quickly. The path around the pond is really nice to walk around. The walls are thin but noise has never really been a problem.

Belmont review
Definitely not as nice as surrounding property but it is cheaper and only about a 20 min walk from TSCHE.

Enjoy Belmont
Overall the Belmont is a great and affordable choice to live. It is close to campus for Duke students, and downtown is accessible at only 10-15 minutes away. The pond on the property is quite nice and the facilities in general are good.

Very Good
Apartment is very good. Close to campus, plenty of parking, can't hear sound from other tenants.

Best choice for me
As a dog owner, with so much work, and no car at the beginning, the Belmont is the perfect choice for me. I have spaces to walk my dog, I’m walking distance to school, I have an on-site gym, and the management company does a good job. My room and closet are very spacious. It’s pricier than others in the area but its way nicer and safer (even tho you may have seen stuff online I’ve been here for two years and it’s safer than neighboring complexes)

Relatively Cheap but close to campus
Nothing fancy, but does have a nice gym and all of the necessities. Parking is free and it is close to everything.

Not sure what this means
I really enjoy living at this close proximity to campus with reasonable rent and a nice pool and gym. The apartments are also nice.

Right balance of affordable and comfortable
My roommate and I have lived here for all four years of medical school. We have enjoyed it and found it to be a good fit for our needs. It is walking-distance from the medical school and Duke's campus and has nice amenities and convenient parking. We have pretty convenient access to ninth street and downtown with a short drive. There have been security/safety concerns in the past, however in the past 1-2 years the management has taken measures to increase security, including a nightly security patrol. After this, the community has felt significantly safer, but these concerns did exist in the past several years.
