Good but Expensive
Clean and well-kept, but you're paying for it.

Best place on 9th St
BMain is the best place to live in the Main Street area, out of B9 and S9. Amazing property for the value. Wuiet complex and close enough to the 9th St area social scene (approx 3min walk to S9, 4min walk to B9). Neighbors are very respectable and management is friendly and responsive. Common areas are well-kept and maintenance is extremely responsive and friendly.

Fuqua Welcome
Close to Station 9 and Berkshire Ninth Street where many Fuqua students live, as well as walking distance to the Ninth Street area with restaurants and bars. In particular, I really like being walking distance from Yoga Off East and Tavern (popular Fuqua hangout every Tuesday night). I chose Berkshire Main Street because I wanted to be in the same area where most of my classmates live, but also a little bit removed from the action so that I could be as involved in the social scene as I wanted. Also very convenient for team meetings since so many people live in this area. Berkshire Main amenities are really nice and I have enjoyed living here. Also recommend signing a two year lease with reduced rent over the summer during your internship.

Great location, but train is really loud
Really convenient to campus and the rest of the 9th street area, but it is really close to a train crossing that is really loud, sometimes early in the morning and late at night.

Enjoyed Living Here
Overall, I have enjoyed living at BMain and haven't had any large issues. I like that it is close to Station 9, but not in S9. All of the apartments have Nest thermostats in them, which is great for saving money on cooling/heating. The community kitchen space is really nice and is perfect for having a large group of people over. The common spaces can be reserved online, which is also very convenient.
Be aware of where you chose to live in the apartments, as we are very close to the train tracks and the apartments that face the tracks have to deal with incredibly loud trains 5-10x a day.
