MPP is good enough but you can find better
It's an old building with old fixtures. Can find a better facility but the downside is that for most social events you will be coming to MPP. So choose based on what matters more to you.

Good value and location
Coming from New York, these are relatively large apartments that are in good shape. Great location and proximity from the Metra. Nice to have all of your peers near you. Management could be better (e.g. more responsive) and elevators can be slow at times... but pleased overall.

MPP
The elevators can be quite congested during busy times and it’s not the nicest building, but it gets the job done and I really enjoy living where most Booth students live!

Shitty building good location
Just do it. It’s two years. When recessions comes everyone will eat the rich anyways, which means Mila and 73E are fuched.

Newly renovated units, amazing view of Millenium Park
We just moved in a month ago, and have had a great experience so far. The internet is very good and included in rent, and the unit has beautiful wood floors, granite countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Our electric bill is the only utility bill we pay, and it was extremely affordable for July. It really is a beautiful apartment! The building itself is older, but the units are newly renovated. Amazing dishwasher, so much counter space, an ideal apartment for entertaining. People love coming over and are always astounded by our south east/west view of the Bean, Millenium Park, Grant Park, Michigan Ave, and the lake.

Newly renovated apartments with amazing Millenium Park view
We just moved into Millenium Park Plaza about a month ago, and we have had a great experience so far. While the apartment building itself is older, the units are all newly renovated with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and hardwood floors. The natural light is incredible and we have an astonishing view of Millenium Park, Michigan Ave, the Bean, and the Lake.

Poorly Managed, Great Value for the Location
The management team and door staff are entirely incompetent, rude, and
not personable. However, I enjoy living a 5 minute walk from my office for such a low price. The amenities are sufficient and I enjoy the rooftop views of Millennium Park and the lake. However, I regularly come home with several bags of groceries and the door staff won't press a button at their desk to open the door for me because "I have a key and hands so I can put my groceries down and open it myself", which I think is rude to say to a resident.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
