MPP
MPP is a good building - not luxurious, but good enough and relatively inexpensive if you share a 3-bedroom apartment. The location is excellent - right downtown, so walking distance to a lot of corporate events and Chicago sights, and also right above Millennium Station for a quick commute to campus. Having lived in a regular apartment in London before, I find the loading dock very useful as it removes the hassle of receiving packages and is open quite late almost every day. There is also a decent gym for a casual user like me. Within the unit itself, I like the spacious kitchen and living room. I have the smallest room in my 3-bed apartment and, again coming from London, even this is enough for my needs - I have room to study, a reasonably-sized closet and a very partial but also very nice view of Lake Michigan. When I think back to my decision, it boiled down to: decent building, good price, lots of Booth people (i.e., house parties with no commute). Overall, pretty happy.

MPP
Love living with everyone else from Booth. Building is fairly nice if you come from the East Coast and are used to the bare bones for an apartment. Great views from the triples.

Good value for price
Definitely looks lived in, but I think you get what you pay for. You cannot beat the location, proximity to the train, the rest of your class, and lack of move-in fee.

Some troubling maintenance issues with elevators but overall good value and quality for the location.

Great Location, No Frills
MPP is conveniently located and has everything you absolutely need to survive. There are no frills or extra bells and whistles, but if you just need a place to live around people you like and know, MPP is for you.

VALUE! It's just fine!
Many others have issues, but we have no complaints that are not easily justified by the VALUE here.

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
