Oak Park Place is Home

OPP is definitely a place I can comfortably call home. It is where my kitty & I live out each day, enjoying our own personal space, while in community with other residents in the building. Management does a great job in keeping us connected, putting on several social events throughout the year. I take advantage of the connected parking garage, both for safety and ease. I also love the in-house gym, secure package room, & the communal spaces that I find myself studying in frequently. I also adore that it is within walking distance to several grocery stores, including steps away from Trader Joe’s. It is also surrounded by the charming neighborhood of Oak Park, where you can find anything and everything you could ever need, including excellent restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater, farmer’s market, and city-run social events. A special perk is having Petco down the road for all those looking for a great place to live with a furry friend. Also, it is an easy 10-15min drive to Loyola’s medical campus or an easy 30min drive to downtown.

Oak Park Place

Management is difficult to work with at times. I was told incorrect information when I first moved in. The facilities are great. Heating/Cooling is often not working correctly.

Oak park 12th floor

View in the corner units on face the city and have huge windows, the hallways smell sometimes from pets and the parking garage meter sometime doesn’t work but i never have to pay to enter or leave becuause there is always someone on call for the garage to allow me in. Super convenient in terms of groceries and night life and city accessibility. Downtown oak park is very safe, tons of restaurants, and Trader Joe’s is downstairs, so i have gone many times in my pajamas when missing an ingredient while cooking and it takes a total of 4 minutes to be back in my apartment
