I live here with my best friend and it's a great location, with only a 6-7 minute walk to campus. Basically your average apartment complex, nice amount of room, sunlight, apt space, and parking. The most surprising thing is how helpful the landlord is - Sy has fixed every problem we've noted within 2-3 business days. Unfortunately the floor is thin and we can hear our upstairs neighbor at all hours, and the trains can be pretty loud at the wrong hour (don't open your windows unless you're prepared for a nuclear bomb-level amount of noise at midnight or 7 am). No central A/C either, which was pretty brutal in the summer but manageable with window units. But it's a great amount of closet and storage space.

I pay $655/month plus about $50 for internet and electric. It's close to the bus and the neighbors are quiet. I don't expect any amenities or a great space for what I'm paying, saving money is far more important for me and most grad students.

This humble abode is, in so far as my experience has permitted during my stay of residence to be of the utmost satisfactory.

It's a little shabby around the edges, but the location at the edge of Kerrytown and price are perfect for a graduate student. Easy 5-15 min walk to Hospital, State st stores, and Main Street. 5 min walk from Kerrytown. Parking lot in the back is nice, with some guest parking, but not covered and only 1 spot per unit (regardless of 1 or 2 bedroom). Interiors are "80s" and perhaps a little small, but cozy. The landlord is reasonable and responsive. Gas and heating included in rent, but pay for your own electric and cable/internet. Noise from Fuller road and occasional train or helicopter aren't too bad, but noticeable.

Spacious 2br apt with 5min walk to med school/hospital. Parking is available.
