Great apt. Very far from the university!
Overall my experience in this building has been very positive the only negative side is that it is very far from the university and I don't think it's worth been that far!!

Decent
1717 is a nice place run by poor management.

Good value
Overall, the apartment has been really good. The layout and some of the features could be a bit nicer, but overall the value is good. It’s a quieter building than some other Kellogg buildings, which can be a pro or con, depending on what you’re looking for. The walk to campus is 21 minutes, or a 10 min bike ride. The management is responsive.

Very satisified
It's great and definitely a worthwhile alternative to E2. Only thing is that a lot of the "perks" often don't work properly (coffee machine, printer, TVs in gym, etc). Also elevators are SO slow and ubers often get confused if they come from the North on Ridge.

Great experience
Management is easy to work with and friendly. Not too far from metra or purple line. About 30 minute walk from hub. Overall would definitely live here again.

Great Apartment, Slightly far commute
1717 has great amenities, hard wood floors, and spacious floor plans. It is a bit farther from the Global Hub, but offers better value than other luxury apartment complexes like E2. W were surprised that the units have individual water heaters, and therefore, limited hot water supply. It's just something to be aware of - my husband and I are able to manage the use of the washing machine and dishwasher so it isn't a huge problem.

The place is great, modern many common areas and great service
Expensive, but once there, everything is great-- the place is very modern, living space is very well distributed to take advantage of the place, maintenance is really on any single issue it's quiet, people are friendly common areas are usually available and not very crowded, package room and administrative staff make our lives easier. Highly recommend if you are okay with the price (only downside...)
