Evanston Place reviews and highlights
- Best location for Northwestern students
- Really great building for couples and families
- Huge balcony on the 6th floor
- New workout room
- Management is super helpful
- Close to downtown
- Great location - close to the Jake, bars, ands shopping
- Staff is very responsive to issues
- Facilities need to be upgraded
- Sound proofing is not great
- No air conditioning from mid-September until the end of May
Over priced and shady management
Tons of fees hit you the first bill (e.g. pest removal) that you didn't know existed. Heat is f*cked up and your room is 90 degrees all winter -even if you turn heat off. However, you can't open window because there's loud 7am construction most mornings. Package delivery option is ridiculous and another method they price gouge you. Forced to use Comcast which sucks. Washer and dryers suck. Management team is non-responsive and promises things, but then doesn't do it. Etc.

Great Location but a bit overpriced
Evanston place is in a great location relative to the Jake, bars, shopping but you pay for the location. The amenities are ok but not flash but are currently being upgraded. Having a pool in summer is also a plus.

Best Location
This is the best location for Northwestern students. Also, if you chose an apartment in the 6th floor, you will have a huge balcony.

Location is Key!
Very positive experience, management is super helpful and the location is the best in town. Good for families, although sometimes the undergrads can get a little noisy!

Fantastic location!
Great location! Close to downtown, Jacobs, the lake. Has a gym, pool. Sound proofing is not great. Looks nice than it is - most of the appliances are cheap. Great for a year or two if location is important.

Great location
Very quick walk to campus and downtown Evanston. Staff is very responsive on issues. The only significant downside is the building central air, which keeps the A/C off between mid September and the end of May, essentially regardless of outdoor temperature. As a result apartment temperatures can get uncomfortably warm during nice days in the fall and spring. A new workout room is supposed to open later this year which should be a nice complement to the pool/patio area.

Evanton Place
The facilities in the building are run down and need to be upgraded. During the summer, there was no AC and the heat automatically turns on in mid September. The piping is also easily clogged.
