The apartments have updated appliances and the units are generally spacious and in great condition. There's very good noise insulation. Management is responsive to maintenance requests and sometimes we get things fixed within 24 hours. Location is very convenient for access to public transit, the Point, and grocery stores in Hyde Park. Only complaint is that there's no doorman, but that's fairly common in the neighborhood.

You won't get nicer quality at this affordable price point in Hyde Park. 2 bed, 2 bath, in-unit washer/dryer, hardwood floors, dishwasher, updated appliances, central air. There's a gym room with an elliptical, treadmill, and weights. We have an on-site supervisor here who is super responsive to issues (fixed my leaky sink on the same day and followed up a few days later to confirm it was working). Great location between the lake and the commercial strip of Hyde Park. I've lived here all three years of law school and have loved it.

I enjoy the location, amenities, and price of my building. It is conveniently located next to the buses to school, as well as buses to downtown Chicago. I can walk to the grocery store easily. There is a small gym on the first floor. The apartments have updated, nice appliances for cooking and in the bathrooms. There is in-unit laundry. There is minimal noise from other apartments. The management company is responsive and easy to work with. For this price point (relatively less than other 2-bed/2-bath apartments in the neighborhoods) I think it is great value for the quality of each unit.

I love Silver Clouds; the management is nice and responsive to tenants; the property is well-priced and well-maintained. Moving in is a little tricky, as it's hard to get ahold of a unit and of the leasing agent. You essentially need a referral from a current resident.

Great value if you don't mind being away from the social scene in regents. Cheaper and the apartments are nicer
