25 minute commute (counting walking to the metro + time on metro+ short walk to school). Updated appliances, about $800 a person. Some issues but none really worth not saving like a grand over VA square. We have a pool and gym on the property. Walkable to the Mosaic district (restaurants, target, movies, shopping), it also has a great farmers market sunday mornings.

Merrifield apartments are just wonderful, close to metro station, target, hmart, xsport, giant, dc cinemas, blackfinn bar, etc. This apartment has a lot of Indian and mexicans but they are all good and friendly. the management is very professional but the only problem here is roaches, if u are untidy and cant clean ur kitchen on a daily basis then you will have un invited guests, The Roaches.

Cheapest rent within a 10 minute walk of the Metro in NoVA or any safe neighborhood in DC. 24/7 maintenance, two pools, one gym, laundry in every building, two free guest parking spots, and huge and spacious inside. We also love our huge sliding glass door that opens up onto a large spacious shared back yard!

I lived at this facility for 3 years. The contacts with some of the office staff were always helpful, in particular Mark and Raha. I only had maintenance issues twice. each problem was promptly taken care of. Nice for the most part. Nice location to live too.

There are many good things about living in this apartment complex. The tennis court is well maintained and a lot of fun. The pool is awesome (nice temperature and well maintained). I personally really love the staff..They are friendly and helpful and I really have not had any poor experiences with them. When you have a maintenance issue they come either the same day or the next day. The provide prompt and direct service and are friendly

The staff is friendly from the rental office all the way to the grounds keepers .The location isn't bad there are some restaurents close by and the metro too

rent - my rent was 1600 for a 2 bedroom, 1 bath, you can pay online, money order, direct deposit, and they let you pay until the 5th (10% fee if you do not pay by then) so they give you ample time to pay if you do not get paid exactly on the 1st of the month.

staff - were generally friendly the times I did go to the office (usually only to pick up a package)

This apartment is not bad over all. I have been staying there for over a year and the environment is nice. My family love this place and it is close to the metro station, easy for me and my wife to go to work, and even for leisure during the holidays.
the staff at the leasing office is very nice as well. Marc is warm heart and helpful with any kinds of questions and problems we have in the apartment. HOWEVER, others at the leasing office is not that helpful. they are rude and not responsive at all!

I love the location, which is walking distance to the Dunn Loring metro. I moved here for the indoor "full-court" basketball court, I've been playing ball twice a week for years now. I wish it had a 3pt line. I'm in the best shape of my life, thanks to the gym amenities and walking to work via metro.
