It's the best value with good amenities.

It's a renovated building with great proximity to campus and just a block away from the National Cathedral. Most units come with in-unit washer and dryer along with updated appliances, which makes the kitchen a sight to see. There's plenty of closet space, including a small pantry room. Don't expect any storage in the bathroom though. You'd have to buy an over-the-toilet shelving.

Since it's still an old building, there are some inherited maintenance issues (especially with leaky pipes) but the maintenance team is always a call away to fix.

Even though it's a diverse demographic here, it seems best suited for young professionals on the go. Pets are definitely loved here. Don't expect anyone by the lobby though. Lobby doors are accessed independently via a call box. Management is also decent -- they try their best but their time is also split with other buildings they manage.

Great location and price

Adam's View is a great location for a good price. The roof view is great in the summer, and there are new restaurants popping up. The elevator is often out, which can make it difficult if you live on an upper level, but otherwise it's a great place to rent.

Getting around Cleveland Park

Cleveland Park Reviews

Safe neighborhood, lots of restaurants. Not super hip. More low key than other neighborhoods. Single family homes are prevalent. Great access to rock creek park.
Very close to the red line metro stop and I never feel unsafe in Cleveland park as a single woman. The crowd is a bit older over here, but there are some grad students because Howard Law is close by. There is a target, CVS, GW urgent care, library and streets market all in the same shopping center along with several restaurants. there are many trails to run/bike through rock creek park which is a favorite pass time of mine
Love living in Cleveland Park. Very cute "main street" on Connecticut Ave with lots of restaurants, shops, and a target. We're adjacent to Rock Creek Park for walking, and the bike trail that goes through the park and down to Georgetown.
Lovely spot! Right next to rock creek park. Dog park right down the street, lots of dogs and young families. It feels very safe.
Great neighborhood, very safe and residential. Compared to other places in NW or NE that are closer to the action I have heard it be referred to as 'DC light' or 'diet DC', but that suits me just fine.
This is a nice, quiet neighborhood. It is very pleasant but not close to the metro.
Cleveland Park is a great neighborhood for those looking for something that feels like home but has the amenities of a city location (metro, shopping).
For a while I didn't like living in Cleveland Park because it's not a new or up-in-coming area that a lot of millenials in D.C. are moving to, but it has it's own charm. There are great resaturants, and it's convienent enough to anything you could need. It's also super safe and friendly.
