Resident

The price of the apartment seems appropriate compared to other options available. It seems like a safe neighborhood area with occasional noise from the nearby train tracks. The apartment inside has an average and old appearance. The shower water temperature is not consistent. However, apartment management is responsive to major issues and concerns like a wasp infestation. I would also like to say that all the apartment monthly rents in the local area are unacceptably high even if it's "market price". I'm not sure of the exact cause, but I suspect that this is due to post-COVID greed to squeeze additional money our of residents. Speaking to previous and current residents of the region, the price was significantly lower by 1/3 the price about 3-4 years ago. The previous price is feasible as I paid a similar price ($1050) for a similar one-bedroom apartment in University City of Philadelphia.
