Ford Factory Lofts Review

Basically, I didn’t come to housing weekend and was looking for a place that was a little bit further from campus with lots of stuff within easy walking/biking distance that I felt comfortable renting site-unseen. The location of my place is amazing, and I think it’s the best value for a one-bedroom in that area. There aren’t as many amenities at my complex as there are at others, but I think the location makes it worth it.

This is the sole neighborhood I would live in if I were moving to Atlanta again - Virginia Highlands, and specifically Poncey Highlands, is central to everything and very accessible from most other parts of the city. A lot is walkable, and if not, a short Uber/drive away. Great bars and restaurants that many classmates end up finding themselves at on weekends, saving a lot of time and money commuting. It is a short drive to campus, and also a very safe neighborhood. There is also a Publix literally across the street from the building.
I love the neighborhood. There's a lot of park access and tons of food. It's a pretty quick drive to most places in atlanta. One downside is that ponce de leon can get busy. I've never had to wait a length of time that was unacceptable, but I have been slowed down by a few minutes depending on the time of day. Driving to class takes about 13-16 minutes depending on the time.
Not as walkable as Midtown, but the beltline and lots of new development makes restaurants, shops, recreation and work more accessible than many other neighborhoods.
Love the neighborhood - really in the middle of all the action and tons of cool bars, restaurants, etc to check out
The only downside to the neighborhood is sometimes the street noise can be a bit loud. Walk, bike, drive, take the bus.
Very convenient for all needs - school, social, etc. Easy walk to a lot of great locations.
Everything you'd need within walking distance or a short drive away.
In the Poncey-Highlands, there is everything you need, and more! Plenty of grocery stores, fantastic shop, and plenty of eclectic bars and coffee shops. Within less than a mile, I can walk to dozens of delicious restaurants! And there is a bar for everyone, and every mood!
