771 Lindbergh Apartments reviews and highlights
- most residents are young professionals
- if you're looking for a good value and easy access to the MARTA this is definitley a good place to consider
- the complex feels decently safe
- parking is almost never an issue
- with the apartment being nestled right up against the highway, noise is inevitable
Not bad
I generally liked living here. The place was quite large for the money, and they have a pool and small gym. Management was pretty quick to fix things if there was an issue in the apartment.

Convenient location, great management, a bit noisy
I've lived at 771 for more than four years -- first in a small one-bedroom apartment, and then in a larger 2 bed/2 bath with my partner. The location is excellent, as I can easily get on 75/85 or 400 to get pretty much anywhere in Atlanta in 20 minutes (traffic permitting). Since 771 is located a few blocks from a MARTA station, it's also very easy to take public transportation (as long as you're trying to get somewhere on the MARTA lines, which is a whole other can of worms). It's also easy to get out onto Buford for all the good food out there, via either 85N or Buford Highway itself. There's even an HOV exit on 85S just down the street from the complex, so if you're carpooling up 85 it's always easy to get on and off the highway.
If you're looking to get around without a car, 771 will be OK since it's near the MARTA, but maybe not as good as something in Midtown where you can walk to everything. There aren't many grocery stores within a
The apartments are well-maintained, roomy (for the price/location), and simple. Over the years I've lived here every maintenance issue I've had has been handled very quickly. The folks in the front office are very nice and friendly, and are always happy to help if an apartment issue comes up.
My main complaints center around noise. With the apartment complex being nestled right up against the highway, noise is inevitable. Depending on which apartment you get, you may have a better or worse time of it. Try to avoid apartments that actually overlook the highway, as those are the noisiest. My current apartment also has a strange issue, in that the soundproofing between it and the apartment below is very poor in certain rooms, but I didn't run into that in my previous apartment.
Parking is almost never an issue, as there are plenty of spots for both residents and guests, and the complex feels decently safe, given that we're in Atlanta. That said, there are occasionally car and apartment break-ins, so you should still be vigilant about locking your doors and not leaving stuff lying around in your car, but it's pretty much par for the course living in Atlanta.
There are a bunch of luxury apartments and condos going in nearby, all of which cost significantly more per square foot. Those may be a better choice for you if you want newer/better amenities, but if you're looking for a good value and easy access to the MARTA this is definitely a good place to consider.
