Broadway Palace
Good price and a lot of amenities. Location is okay, management not super helpful .

Broadway
Very expensive but a fairly nice place to live. Downtown is not the best area but fine

Live somewhere else
Not the cleanest or most well kept. Neighbors can be loud and packages will most likely get stolen if you are not quick to pick them up. Non-residents are frequently using the gyms and library unaccompanied by a resident, without security doing anything. Smells bad most of the time. Unhoused people will be sleeping in the walkway immediately beside the property.

Broadway Palace
Management is terrible but it is close to school and you can get good deals. The units themselves are modern and spacious.

Broadway
Broadway is a great value. It's on the cheaper side of DTLA apartments but still has a ton of amenities.

Faux Luxury Building - Mediocre
My experience at Broadway Palace has both ups and downs. When we moved in the building was well-maintained, clean, and way more well taken care of than now.
Now there is frequently trash or dog poop on floors, security is rarely at the front desk, and the building takes forever to respond to any maintenance. The location is also meh, if looking downtown I'd recommend somewhere closer to the South Park Neighborhood on grand as it is closer to the Expo line for campus transport.

Apartment is nice, management is awful
Management is impossible to get in contact with. Problems with hot water and fire alarms going off remained unaddressed for weeks. Security is minimal - easy for people to sneak in.

DO NOT SUGGEST
This is a disgusting building with filthy amenities and a staff with no power to actually fix any problem. I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND TO ANY STUDENT. it is in a highly troubling area with constant crime. DO NOT LIVE HERE

The apartments are very nice, it's a great deal, nice location and I think it will be perfect post-pandemic.
