Eh
Lack of amenities, a lot of construction work.

Cheapest area around, but you can tell
The apartment looks great on move in day, and then problem after problem arise. Maintenance is not quick to fix and sometimes comes and leaves problems unfixed. I've seen lots of bugs around. Doors don't shut properly and I can see through the crack when it is supposed to be shut to give privacy. Overall, the floor plan is huge and worth the price and I am mainly satisfied.

Acadia- the good and the bad
The great thing about this apartment is the distance it is from campus. It’s about a 4 minute drive. You can walk from campus depending on the weather! However, It does have its drawbacks. Before moving into any apartment I would strongly recommend a pre move in walkthrough to ensure that apartment is in the condition it was promised to you in.
These apartments are newly renovated, but there are still some issues. For example, the water heater is located on the deck. The water heater controls the temperature of the water and ultimately if there is heat in the apartment. On two different occasions, my heat has been out because it has been too windy and that has blown out the pilot light in the room containing the water heater. It took about 2 hours for maintenance to come fix this both times. Apparently this can be a common occurrence in the winter.
I am not impressed with management or how they handle issues. We moved in in August, but had to switch apartments due to a problem. We still do not have a signed lease for our new address and it is currently January.
They are nice apartments but the whole
complex is currently going through construction. So there is no gym right now until approximately the spring. All things to consider. There are only two buildings with elevators- Cornerstone and Milestone. So keep that in mind for moving purposes as well.

Super Close & Nice
Newly renovated apartments, super close to GWUSON campus. Cheaper if you have roommates not so cheap if you live alone. No complaints so far.

Decent apartment for the location
Pros: Great location to GWU VSTC, lots of sunlight, very quiet, within walking distance to Bles park and trails, small but adequate gym, 2 pools, responsive management, free parking, valet trash pickup.
Cons: Temperature control issues (poorly insulated), appliances not updated, carpet, streetlights at night are very bright which can be bothersome when trying to sleep.

Great value
Couldn't be happier so far! Nice management, convenient location, and reasonably priced apartments. Great option for GW Nursing students!

Average
-Great to be so close to school
-Far from DC and fun activities
-Reasonable rent
-Management is unresponsive to complaints
-No one picks up their dog poop
-Thin walls, but neighbors aren't too noisy
-They allow smoking so if your neighbors smoke, you will smell it. HUGE problem for us.
-Two nice pools, but one will be closed for a year for renovations
-Requests for maintenance issues are responded to in a reasonable time
-Stairways to apartments feel like they will crumble and you will die walking up them
-Average space in the one bedroom apartments. Average upkeep.

Close to Ashburn Campus
Stone ridge is within walking distance to campus. on a nice day the walk home after class is refreshing.
The apartments themselves are nice, many are updated, and the complex is huge. there are 2 pools and a work out center on site as well. The staff is overall responsive to service request., and rent is reasonable. they even do a 15 month lease, and GW students get a discount. Loudon One is only 1.5 miles away, so bars and restaurants are close as well.
I recommend living here, for the 1st year, at least.
