Great location, but not worth the $$
The location of this complex is great. Target, MARTA station, Starbucks, and a zillion other things all within walking or short driving distance. However, several big concerns make this apartment complex just average at best. Walls are thin - neighbors can be heard from above as well as adjoining walls on same level. Appliances are very basic. Microwave beeps three loud times after cooking is finished - even if you open the door during the beeps. You will be running to push the "Clear/Off" button to end the beeps. The parking garage and hallways are nearly always littered with trash. Tenants seem to have no sense of pride on keeping this place looking respectable. It's depressing. I've never lived anywhere like it. No recourse from management to get people to pick up after themselves. All in all, I'll probably be moving at the end of my lease.

Great Apartments
Peninsula at Buckhead has great apartments with really nice rooftop amenities including a pool and gym. Very centrally located to Buckhead and nearby shopping. Although the surrounding area is mostly nice, there are still some concerns with safety. Apartments are very spacious with large closets and bathrooms.

Great management team who listens to concerns and acts quickly to solve issues. Very helpful maintenance staff (all repairs are included in rent). The best rooftop in Atlanta with modern gym overlooking pool and amazing garden with several fireplaces and ping ping tables.

Just Ok
The location is the best part. You can go any direction rather quickly being close to 400 / 75 / 85 as well as sidney marcus and lindbergh roads going east and west. The location is also a bit sketchy... the Waffle House next door brings a bad crowd, even late at night sometimes keeping me awake (there's fights and arguments in the parking lot quite frequently). Home Depot is also close, but half of the year they restock the gardening supply on a nightly basis and the machines/vehicles that operate this is VERY noisy. at 3:00 AM I'll here a beeping non-stop in the parking lot. Management is also just ok, they aren't the best and completing maintenence requests, especially in a timely manner.

Good and Livable
My husband and I enjoyed living in Lindberg Vista (now The Peninsula at Buckhead) for the location near highways and Marta and a few stores we really like. We also liked living between Buckhead and Highlands area. Traffic could be pretty bad but that's any where in Atlanta. The apartment itself and the gym were nice and we enjoyed both a good deal. The worst part were the neighbors at times. They consistently smoked pot, broke the gate in the garage, and never ever picked up after their pets outside so that the grass/pine straw areas closest to the building were always a disgusting biohazard regardless of how many times management emailed about it. We felt we had a fairly decent value for our money and were happy enough while we lived there in 2014-15.
