Mila Review
Great downtown location with easy public transportation to school

Good place to live
I've generally enjoyed MILA. I find that the apartments, amenities, and management (mainly the front desk) are worth the premium to MPP.

MILA is great!
MILA is amazing: very near metra and MPP, but with great amenities! Best decision! It is more expensive, but worth it.

Mila is great
Best things about Mila: in-unit washer and dryer, little to no noise from other apartments, friendly front desk staff.

Great Building, Awful Management
The building is a great location with decent amenities but the management is so difficult that I would recommend living elsewhere. They are unresponsive, charge additional fees that they change at whims notice each month, and sometimes even condescending. I had serious problems with noise from my neighbor all year and management was not helpful with the situation. I would highly recommend choosing another building.

Nice apartment, steep price, improving management

Good units, bad management
Management is very stingy and inflexible. They put in arbitrary charges when they don't get their way (e.g. students putting furniture in the hallway - $200 per piece of item in hallway; students bringing more than 2 guests into the common area on 6th floor lounge - $145 per hour for not booking the amenity)
The unit itself is great and modern

The Loop Reviews
Very close to the lake and navy pier
Great park surrounded by all the buildings.
There’s good supermarket that has everything. A couple restaurants and coffee shops are also there.
That being said, if you're anywhere near State St. or the Mag mile, there's pretty much people around at any given hour. It's fun to live downtown because the streets are bustling with interesting people, sometimes there's live music on street corners and there are a lot of restaurants and shops.
