Great Building

I have lived in this building since 2004 and never had any issues. it is clean, safe, and well-managed. The rooftop is beautiful and practically private because it is hardly used. There is an herb garden that all residents have access to. The building takes care of trash and recycling, and receives all your packages for you.

Highly Recommend

The building is beautiful and very well maintained. The location is wonderful, right in the middle of Mt. Vernon. Very close to bars and restaurants in the area. It is not very social, as many of the condos are businesses and offices, and some of the other condos are rented or owned by older tenants. My biggest complaint is the building manager, who is on a total power trip.

Overall OK

Good location, decent security, communal areas kept clean... management can be iffy, there are large dogs in the building, but those were "grandfathered" in and now you can only have dogs below 35lb. Laundry in the basement is usually available as there's a fair amount of machines...

Very well located, nice management

Very well located, right in the heart of Mt Vernon, close to all the bars and restaurants of the area. Building runs well, deliveries are always picked up efficiently. Laundry room is big (although sometimes too many units are out of service) so you almost never have to wait. It has a convenience store in the same building (with direct access) that has long opening hours.

Great for Young Professionals

I live in a studio that can feel quite small at times, but having the beautiful rooftop deck more than makes up for it! The neighbors are either friendly, or just keep to themselves. There is private access through the basement to the liquor store on Eager Street!!! 24 hour front desk staff, everyone is lovely.

Love it here

Great building. Parking is extra. Would be great if it had even a small fitness center. But the area is great and the security is good.

Close to restaurants, coffee, and a 5 minute walk to Penn station. It is probably one of the more affordable condo/apt buildings in Baltimore.

Central Location

I really have no complaints about the building. Central location, close to (Penn Station, restaurants on Charles street, there is even a Pizzeria on the first floor - The Spot, which has great deals for pick-up), good management. Highly recommend living in that building.

Love it so far

New to the apartment building, love it so far! Haven't had a problem that has been major yet, but when we did have any issues the management resolved them very quickly. Great location, nice amenities, close to everything that Baltimore City has to offer!

Good - not many complaints

It's been good! beautiful location, great restuarants, people, places, things. Good great, awesome. The view of the sun rising outside my window is the best part of my day. Love the hard wood floors and the nice management. The guy at the garage could be nicer.

Mid-Town Belvedere Reviews

There isn’t too much near by in comparison to other locations in Baltimore, but it is in the middle of the city so it is easy to get places. There isn’t a grocery store nearby, which is probably the biggest con.
UMd Police presence is fairly high, so the area feels reasonably safe. Fairly well lit, and fairly heavily traveled given its location with UB and UMd.
Have only been offered crack once in two years.
It’s a really nice area and is walking distance to a lot of different things. But once you go outside the area it can get a little sketchy
Good bar/restaurant scene, right next to the train/bus station. Some crime but can't help that.
Love how historic it is
Midtown/ Mt Vernon is a very active neighborhood in Baltimore. Artscape is held annually here, and there is regularly activities going on. It very common to see people out and about at all hours. Its situated around several colleges and universities. The real con to the neighborhood, is the lack of viable options for grocery shopping. You must travel to another neighborhood to shop which means more often than not you need to utilize a car. Zipcar is available in many locations.
Mt Vernon is a safe neighborhood with some of the best bars/restaurants of Baltimore (including Brewers Art, The Owl Bar, etc.). It really "feels" like a neighborhood. Main problem: no decent grocery stores on walking distance. Eddies is a disgrace of low quality produce and whole foods-like prices, so you really need a car to do grocery shopping.
This is a fairly safe and clean neighborhood. I checked the Sun's murder and rat complaint maps, and this area has little of either. Eddies of Mount Vernon is an OK grocery store, but I wouldn't go there for everything.
