Murray Hill
Decent apartment in murray hill. 3 bedrooms but converted into a 4 bedroom. high rise apartment so we have a great view of the empire state building. the floors are a bit squeaky. Appliances are pretty old so it's not the best. Solid location with bars and restaurants.

Gramercy Park Reviews
Safe area (next door to the Police Academy)
Pretty quiet neighborhood (3rd ave is not too noisy)
Close to actual Gramercy Park
1mi from campus
Many restaurants/bars close by, but not noisy on a Fri/Sat night
CONS
No do-it-yourself laundry nearby (wash and fold options close)
No actual access to Gramercy Park
Closest "large" grocery stores at Union Square (Trader Joes, Whole Foods)-not a problem per se, but expect them to be very crowded most of the time
