Great Location

I love my apartments location and the ability to walk to VUSN and VUMC for clinicals. The apartment is spacious with new appliances. I feel safe and comfortable walking to/from, as well as comfortable in the place!

Safe but not quiet

Generally a clean and safe building. Maintenance is good at fixing things in a timely manner, but the walls and floors are thin, and management takes a long time to respond.

Great Location

Under 10 minute walk to campus, close walk to great restaurants and bars. Great kitchen, spacious bedroom and bathroom. The gym is nothing special.

Artisan at 18th

The building is newer with upgraded appliances and nice countertops. While there are fewer amenities than other buildings, it is secure with garage parking and a small gym. It is less than 10 minutes walk to Vanderbilt's campus and is a great location next to Music Row. The noise level is high since there is construction next door and the Midtown bars sometimes get noisy but it is quiet in comparison to other buildings.

Great for students

Artisan on 18th has been a great place to live during my two years at Vanderbilt. It's not an overly nice place, but the price point is better than some places nearby and it gets the job done. Construction next door has made it really loud this past year, and the walls are pretty thin so you can hear above/below and next door pretty easily. Overall, it's a great place to live for the a short while and enjoy Nashville.

Join me I’m lonely!

The Artisan is great! Management is incredibly kind and prompt. The property is always clean, and I always feel safe—particularly important to me as a young female who lives alone! No one else lives here primarily because either they want lower rent or they want to live around other medical students (I.e. Bristol), but I have truly enjoyed living here and would recommend it to anyone. It doesn’t have that college pseudo-dorm feel that you get at Bristol or Acklen West End, but you definitely pay for the homey environment, safety, and quiet but convenient location on music row.

I am on the border of Midtown and Music Row so it feels very safe here, there is not tons of traffic which is nice when walking around and even driving whenever I get out in my car, and there is plenty to do with a bunch of restaurants and bars. There is even an outdoor concert every Monday at one of the bars across the street, so I can open my windows and just listen to live music when doing homework - I love it!
very fun atmosphere. Central to everything and lots of restaurants and shopping near by and very close to school. about a 5 minute drive
Everything is a short drive away (15 minutes or less). There are grocery stores, restaurants and bars in the areas so you aren’t missing out on the social experience. This is a more residential corner of the midtown area so you don’t hear traffic/ambulance noise even though there are freeways and hospitals nearby. Close to Centennial Park and Percy Warner Trails so if you enjoy the outdoors this is a nice area to be in.
Midtown is great if you want to live close to campus. Vibrant bar/restaurant scene and short walk to campus. Said "yes" to all the additional questions around safety, family/pet friendly, etc. but you also have to realize it's very much a party area. Division is very popular and as a result, you always have to watch your surroundings and be aware at all times.
Midtown is situated just next to Vanderbilt with tons of fun bars and restaurants
Lots of bars and food places, easy to walk around, safe, vibrant.
Restaurants nearby, quiet, close to gym. I really like it.
Very close to campus and plenty things around to do
