Great place
Convenient location with shuttle access too. Spacious apartments. Nice renovated gym. Quiet area. Management has been fluctuating recently and it’s been hard to get in contact with newer people.

Bristol West End is the BEST!
As a medical student, finding the perfect place to live that balances proximity to the hospital, a supportive community, and amenities conducive to both relaxation and study is nothing short of a miracle. But at Bristol West End, that miracle is a daily reality.
First and foremost, the location is absolutely unbeatable. The hospital is just a mere 5-minute walk away, which means I can easily dash back and forth between my apartment and my shifts without the stress of a long commute. On top of that, the shuttle service that runs every 5 minutes during peak hours from the front parking lot to the medical school is an absolute game-changer. It takes the hassle out of transportation entirely and lets me focus more on my studies and less on logistics.
The amenities here are top-notch and perfectly suited to a busy, health-conscious lifestyle. The gym, which was recently renovated less than a year ago, is modern, well-equipped, and never too crowded. It’s the perfect place to squeeze in a workout between classes and shifts. The pool is another fantastic feature — a serene oasis where I can unwind and recharge on my days off.
One of the best aspects of living at Bristol West End is the community. There are so many other medical students and residents living here that it feels like an extension of the medical school itself. It's incredibly reassuring to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who understand the demands and pressures of medical training. Whether it’s study groups or simply sharing a coffee and some encouragement, the sense of camaraderie is palpable.
Despite the vibrant community, the apartment complex is surprisingly quiet. The environment is incredibly conducive to studying, which is crucial given the rigorous demands of medical school. The management does an excellent job of maintaining a peaceful atmosphere, and I have never experienced a disturbance that has disrupted my focus.
In summary, Bristol West End has been an absolute haven for me during my medical training. The proximity to the hospital, the top-tier amenities, and the wonderful community make it an ideal place for any medical student or resident. If you’re looking for a place that supports your academic and professional journey while providing a comfortable and stress-free living environment, look no further than Bristol West End.

Nice place to stay for the price
Close to campus, nice amenities, just redid the gym, good med school community here.
Management can be a little slow to respond. Exterior door scanners/access points fail a bit too often.

Location!
I've enjoyed living at Bristol. Around 1/5th of our class lives here and we often study in the lounge or hang out. The VUMC shuttle stop is a 2 minute walk across the street. Otherwise, it is a 12ish minute walk to EBL.

Great place for med students and residents!
I've lived here all four years and have loved it. Perfect proximity to campus and social events with the privacy of a one bedroom apartment. The best of living alone without being isolated.
