Overall Nice
The apartment is big, maintenance is fast, but sometimes communications do not come through.

Not living here next year...
Apartment is spacious but it is not a fully updated unit even though my understanding of the website/listing for the unit seemed to say it was. However, service requests are handled in a speedy manner. Sound proofing is not there. I have a flying insect problem and the in-unit washer/dryer doesn't dry clothes. There is no lighting in the bedroom and not all switches and plugs work. Units are open to the street. A plus is it's close to transit/grocery store. Close to the law school. For the price I am paying, I expected more.

Close proximity to school
Comfortable property around 1 mile away from the law school. Lived in the same apartment all three years with very few problems in the apartment itself (occasional AC problems or stray bugs). Juan is the best employee there. I never had a single issue with a service request. The staff is generally polite. The primary problems I faced were with management and customer service. If you want to do an externship later on and require a shortened lease, you may need to know before the renewal period for the next year or risk having to find someone to lease your apartment for you. Management could communicate better when questions or concerns arise after the initial set up and move into your apartment. Overall, I would still live there again due to its overall cleanliness and proximity to the school.

The Wynwood Review
This is not a terrible place to live. However, when I moved in, my apartment was very dirty (I'm talking visibly dirty, with hairs in the shower, marks of urination, a dead frog inside, etc.). I complained a few times during my move-in day and was told they were sending cleaners, but that never got done. I'm not 100% sure where the miscommunication happened, but management told me they sent cleaners over two different times, but they never arrived. I ended up cleaning the whole apartment myself, and they gave me a small gift card for the inconvenience, which was nice. Additionally, they limit the length of time visitors may come. I'm not sure how much they implement this, but there is a policy that you are not allowed to have a visitor over three nights in a row and more than a week in a month (the number of days may be off, but it is around that number). Lastly, I was never informed that there were no dishwashers in the apartment, which was frustrating.
On a lighter note, though, the amenities are good. I use the gym, and it's been pretty good there. Management, although unable to attend to issues correctly, are all very sweet people. They often hold events for residents and provide food. I haven't been to one, so I can't speak about how fun or nice they are, but the gesture is appreciated. Lots of people have pets here, so it is very pet-friendly. There are undergrad, grad, and non-student residents. I personally don't mind that at all, but some might. Overall, I think they scam students a bit, but it is close to the law school and a nice place to live, so I don't mind it. It is also cheaper than other places.
Don't expect an amazing experience or a magnificent apartment. It gives you a cozy place to live and some nice amenities, which are enough for me this year, but I don't believe it will be enough for me to stay. I will put a caveat that I went to another student's apartment at The Wynwood, and it looked a lot better than mine, so take my review with a grain of salt. I do not love my apartment, but I know others have had a better experience.

The Wynwood
It’s clean and well maintained, it’s usually quiet around the community and the parking is great, there are some minor problems with some cosmetic things around the unit, I think the price is reasonable for a 1 bedroom

Great location
The location to the law school is great and it is fairly priced but increasing a lot. Management does not maintain the property well.

Overpriced for what you get
Not great. It was cheap (prices have gone up since) and that was the best part. The neighborhood did not feel safe at night, but we never had any problems. There was always problems with the washer/dryers. We even had a washer/dryer in our unit and it never worked even after maintenance tried to fix it. The walls are ridiculously thin - my roommate and I had conversations through the walls with all doors/windows closed - so don't expect privacy (even from your neighbors).
Pros - gators in the ponds were cool to see, and it is great for dogs.

Wynwood
I have very few complaints. Wynwood is a good location and management has been reasonable and responsive in my experience. Good location near the law school and easy access to buses.

Wynwood 1/1 layout
The staff is very friendly and the area is nice. It comes furnished, but it is a basic furniture package. The apartment itself is nice, but I have has problems with spiders and my neighbor with mold. So despite everything else being fairly nice, I would not recommend it. Also my unit has no washer and dryer which is a huge drawback.
