Not a good apartment
This apartment was very close to campus which was convenient. The floors are thin, so I can hear everything the people above me do. The walls are also thin, I can hear people talking outside or walking up the stairs. Management was very unresponsive. We had a hole in our ceiling which was avoided for two months before anyone came to fix it. We had problems with pests and hornets that were getting in through cracks in the door. Unless you pay for a reserved spot, there are rarely spaces unless you park in guest parking.

Close and relatively cheap, but pretty gross
When we went to look at a model apartment, it was nice and renovated. They told us our unit would not be renovated but did not allow us to see an unrenovated apartment. When we moved in it was nasty. Mold on the vents, floors were gross, and cabinets were filthy. They gave us a 200 dollar credit on our rent for the conditions, but it was not worth it. You can never get ahold of the office and there is dog poop everywhere. It has gotten a little bit better as of late, they hired a few good maintenance people. if you move here, make sure you see YOUR apartment before moving in or signing a lease.

Great location
Older property. Not that many amenities. Literally 5 minutes from the Law School & downtown.

Property
Like a lot of property complexes some of the materials are included are meant to look nice as opposed to durable. Maintenance has been good as well as safety. Dog amenities are excellent. There is a pool, small dog park, great lounge area for the week. Doggie doody cans circle the neighborhood. Rent is high everywhere near the school. Would be easier with a roommate. The $200 in gas I would spend on living 10-15 minutes further wouldn’t be worth the offset monetarily and the daily time suck would add up. Really need apartments in the $500-$800 range closer to the school.

Great, Close to Campus, No Big Flaws
My biggest pet peeves are that washer and dryer is not included (renting one set is $60/month) and that only internet provider is AT&T. This means it may not make sense to rent a set if you are going to live alone and do not have the most laundry in the world. This also means you do not have options to barter prices down for internet service.
Also, if you live in building 5 or 6, the train might be a bit loud at times passing through.
As to the pros: Gated community, gym, pool, pet friendly, and parking is usually okay. Biggest pro is being close to school. Maintenance is also responsive and great.

The Depot Review
Great location close to downtown Ft. Worth (walking distance), large square footage. I live in a lofted apartment which is great. Maintenance staff is great and takes care of things quickly.

Inconsistent
The staff is awful. They take an unnecessarily long time to fix things and try to shift the blame.

Alright
Loud, next to a train. Nice apartments. Expensive. Close to the school.
