Quality Value

Aurum provides a decent bang for your buck. Located right on Notre Dame Ave., it is just under a mile walk to Mendoza, and about half a mile walk to Eddy St. The apartment does not have any amenities (i.e. gym, pool, etc.) but provides decent value, particularly for its proximity to campus / Eddy St., relative to other options in the area.

Average Apartment

This is the cheapest option for pet owners near campus unless you rent a house. It's a safe area and less than a mile from the medical school and ND campus which is very nice. However, the quality of the apartment isn't what you would expect for what you're paying. There are no amenities and maintenance requests can take months to be addressed.

The Aurum

Overall a good apartment for reasonably cheap. Walk from my building to Mendoza is 15-20 min. The apartment itself is really spacious, plenty of closet space, and lots of room in the shared rooms (Kitchen, living room, entry way). Each bedroom has a separate bath. Only hear the neighbors above us or when music is really loud. Plenty of parking (included in rent). A mix of ND students and SB residents live in the complex.

Overpriced

Maintenance is slow. It's overpriced and there are no amenities.

Best Cost and Best Value

Fully Furnished, tons of living space, if you don't have 4 that's okay you only pay per room.

Great place to live close to campus

The apartment is large so that you feel like you have your own space despite having 4 people living in the house. The apartment meets all basic needs at a very affordable price and is located close to campus. I walk to campus almost every day.

Darby

Really good deal, rooms are big and you get a private bathroom and a kitchenette upstairs and downstairs. Common floor is good and big. The appliances are a little outdated and the apartment certainly isn’t luxury. But compared to prices elsewhere it’s a great deal and you can choose your roommates too. Close to campus, prob not great for families
