Very Nice but terribly managed
New & beautiful, but management is unprofessional and day to day operations & lease related issues are lacking

Great amenity, close to campus, a bit of noise
Brightleaf is on Main Street. It's the midpoint between 9th street area and downtown and 5 min for either of these areas. The drive to/from Fuqua is very short (7 min) and easy but I would not recommend walking. Building has great amenities (pool, BBQ, meeting rooms, small gym, Amazon Hub, package room).
However, if you are sensitive to noise, I would think twice about this place, especially the side facing Main Street. There is a bar outside and it sometimes get very loud at night (11pm - 1am). Doors in the apartment are not very sound proof, and you can hear other students walking/talking in the hallway.

Brightleaf on Main
I like it. They were helpful with a 6-month lease. Nice appliances, everything is new.

We really like it!
The property is clean with lots of Duke students and easy access to downtown amenities. We love living near restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend having a car though!

Great Alternative to 9th Street
The apartment is much nicer than the 9th street options for slightly cheaper rent. Although the location is not in the 9th street area, it is just across the east campus and a 5-minute drive to Fuqua. Next to Brightleaf Square and numerous bars and restaurants are great perks.

Great location, comfortable space
This is a great location outside of ninth street if you're looking for something different (or want to pay a little less - though there are definitely less expensive options in Durham). The gym is small, but has a peloton which is great. There is a really nice communal working space, but it lacks a printer which is the only delta. In terms of my studio, I love the size and look - it's a huge step up compared to what I could have afforded in the major city I moved from

Amazing Building!
I've loved living in Solis Brightleaf - half way between 9th street and downtown. Very accessible. Great amenities, very new building. Responsive and helpful management.
