Not bad, not great
My main issue with the apartment was the wide variety of maintenance concerns. My bathroom flooded twice due to an issue with the ceiling, I had rats chew through drywall, and there were some other pest concerns. Maintenance would typically require 2-3 visits to resolve the issues. Everything else about the apartment was very "meh." Overall good bank for your buck, but not always the most comfortable living space.

Avondale Apt.
The walks are thick which is nice. The apartment is a little sketchy at times, but I have never not felt safe. It takes me about 10-15 minutes to get to campus. The package delivery system needs work. Management has always been nice, but I rarely ever talk with them. Would I live here again . . . maybe.

Decent for a College Student
The place is relatively clean and there isn't a lot of noise other than the kids playing at the pool on the weekends. The apartment itself has lots of storage, but the kitchen is kind of small. There is a bus that takes you to the train and it is a 10 minute drive to SMU.
