Good apartment

I've lived at my apartment for two years and while the building is a bit outdated, the management is great and super responsive. It is the most understanding property owners I've dealt with and the most safe I've felt in a rental here in town. It is very quiet as well.

Last Resort

I’ve lived here for two years. The outside of the complex is adequate. The amenities are bare minimum, and no utilities are included in the rent. Parking is excellent, and the complex is quiet. The laundry facilities are deplorable. The washers are full of wet pet fur, have an intense odor, and it’s not ventilated well. The inside of the apartments is terrible. The display unit is a trick. The water and air quality is inhumane. The walls are paper thin—I can hear my neighbors cough. There’s always an odor, my carpets are full of cat fur (I don’t have a pet and I've had them cleaned six times), and I had to buy vent covers. There were roaches in my vents. Some black smog comes from the vents and stains on my white appliances and furniture. Do not rent here. The management is willfully ignorant despite my complaints. I’m trying to leave. I’ve stayed this long because I travel often. There are two Krogers nearby, a bus stop, and a gas station across the street, and you can exit the complex on either Tenth or Third Street to get to campus. The bad outweighs the good here, though.

Nice Apartments for a Low Price

My apartment is a two-bedroom one bath unit on the second floor. The apartments are old, but the management team has done a good job keeping the units in good condition. They are very responsive whenever there are maintenance issues, and the apartment complex grounds are kept clean. You can tell that management cares about making sure they provide the best apartments they can with what they're working with. If you value saving money on an apartment with a super convenient bus stop and free parking, then this is the place for you.

Great place to live

Only drawbacks are that it's a bit far and no in-unit washer dryer

Cheap but Old - Overall Good Value

The two bedroom one bath apartment is a good size for living alone. The rent of $900/month makes it one of the more affordable options in town. The downsides are that the apartment buildings are over 60 years (they are well kept however) and there is no in-unit laundry. Rent includes parking in the surface lots, there are no garages. One big plus is that management is very responsive, they fixed a couple small issues within 24 hours of setting up a maintenance request. Overall, I'd recommend Meadow Park if you're looking for a cheap place to live along a bus line that is within 5-10 minutes of campus.

Affordable well-kept apt

Meadow Park is a great option if you’re looking for an affordable option close to the regional academic health center in BL. There are bus routes from the apt to the RAHC and IU campus, and it’s a 5 min drive to RAHC or 30-40 min walk. Only downside is that there is a section of the wall with no sidewalk. This is a good spot if you don’t care about being walking distance to Kirkwood or downtown. The apts are a bit older and not updated but they are clean and in good working condition. The living spaces are plenty big and the kitchen is very usable. Staff are pretty responsive to any needs/concerns and fixed our fridge within the same day we called. Laundry is in a separate building and is a bit expensive but considering the rent price it’s not bad. Overall it’s been a solid living experience!

Satisfied

Management is very responsive and genuinely seems to care about the residents. I love the location - about a five minute drive from the mall/nice Kroger, and a 15-minute bus ride to campus. I've had some pest issues (mice). Also didn't love that they raised my rent significantly when I went to renew. But if you're looking for a well-maintained, moderate price apartment in a nice area, I would recommend.

Very pleased

As a law student, I was hoping for a place that is quiet and cozy. Living here was incredibly stress free, any maintenance issues were handled in an incredibly timely manner, and even though the complex is fairly large, it was always quiet. While the complex isn’t within walking distance of the school (I took the city bus everyday), it allows for rent to be more affordable, and again, there aren’t many undergraduate students living there, so it’s quiet. The leasing office is very friendly and does activities and giveaways all the time. There are two laundry facilities located in the complex and they’re kept clean. Abundant parking space. There are also covered areas for bikes. The complex also has a dog park, a swimming pool, and a gym! I have nothing but good things to say about this complex, and would highly recommend to any student looking for an affordable and cozy place to live.
