Wildwood is great!
I've loved it here. Wildwood tries to make you feel at home with events for residents, and there are plenty of quiet places to study and chill after school. I recommend it to anyone moving to Baton Rouge.

Good place to live but increase in price makes it hard to continue living there
Experience wise it is a very good place to live but price-wise, it is another issue. The rent keeps going up with nothing changing so what is the reason. I am satisfied with the apartment itself but the rising price is a no for me.

Wildwood is good, just not for the money
I have enjoyed living at Wildwood. The amenities are nice and I really like that each individual door locks. I thought about renewing my lease but I took over a sublease and got to keep her rate, the rate if I were to renew is way more than I want to spend. If Wildwood would drop their rent $50-$100 I would recommend it with 10 stars. However, it is definitely college living, it’s a lot of people packed in there. They have gates but they don’t always work and are open a lot. I don’t feel 100% safe but I know it’s a lot safer than a lot of other places. It’s just a little pricey is my only complaint.

Wild Wood
Lots of small grievances with roommates who are too young (they are supposed to match you by year) I am a 1st year graduate student and was matched with a freshman (18). Gates always malfunctioning, parties every weekend by people who attend SU or don’t live on property. Recently, due to gates malfunctioning, there was a shooting that resulted in multiple cars being damaged as well as outer apartment buildings

Could be worse, could also improve
The amenities were closed forever but it seems that they will stay open now. Maintenance takes forever to fix issues and there’s loud congregations in the parking lot late at night that the property police officer doesn’t seem to care about. Minimal bugs, but that’s to be expected in any apartment complex. Overall good but could improve

Wildwood BR Review
Overall my experience has been great. Since getting new management, the apartment complex seems extremely safer. They have a ton of different events that they planned from food trucks, basketball mania and free pizza!

Typical College Apartment
Typical off campus housing. Non-priority items take a long time to get fixed (we have had a broken door inside the apartment since September) and the internet can be spotty depending where you are in your apartment. Awesome amenities and conveniently on the bus route so I did not have to buy a parking pass. The gates can be a pain sometimes, but most are anyway.

Wildwood BR
There was a management change in the middle of my lease. I had several complaints about the previous management but the new one seems to be more proactive. Sometimes the gates are open even though they are supposed to close at night, so I wouldn't say security is the best but it is in a relatively nicer area so I don't notice. I have never had an issue. NO ELEVATORS. This was a pain for moving, especially living in a townhouse because that puts me on the third floor of the complex. New management change has also allowed all amenities to be open 24/7, even with the virus, so this has been a nice change from the prior management. Now I feel like I can actually use the amenities I pay for and they are nice. I wouldn't mind staying here but I don't know if I can find roommates!
