Harold's Square

I have had a great experience at Harold's Square so far! It only has a few units and therefore has a boutique apartment feel (there are only 4 units on my floor including mine). The building is well-maintained and the staff is great. I also have had no issues with the mail/package room. The Green Street bus stop is right out the back door and we also have easy access to the Seneca Bus Stop. I also love being located in the Commons and having easy access to lots of bars/restaurants. My only complaint about the apartment is that because we are located in the Commons, if you have a car, you have to get a parking pass in one of the public parking garages near the Commons (no parking onsite). It also was hard to move-in because of this (no area to really pull a moving truck or car into). But overall, I have been grateful that I live here and get a break from all of the law school hustle.

Harold Square Oasis

After living in three different countries within three years, I can confidently say that Harold's Square has been the best building I have lived in. From the superintendent being so accessible and willing to help if you locked yourself out or needed absolutely anything day or night, to the awesome gym with a brand new Peloton bike, to the unbeatable views. Every day coming home to an amazing smelling lobby, that somehow always had the coolest music playing, was truly an oasis. The tenant get-together evening was a blast and being able to meet the other tenants was lovely. I would recommend living here to anyone that likes being on a walking street with lots of festivals and markets, friendly neighbours, attentive and supportive managers, and a beautiful, modern home! I wish I would pack up Harold's Square, the Commons and the staff and bring them with me to my city.

Amazing place

New building, very clean and spacious.
Nice views and bright apartments.
Construction at the back of the building, but front units are absolutely quiet.
The building manager is very helpful and super available.
There is gym, storage, extra laundry room in the basement.
Amenities are new and suffcient.

Spacious

I love the layout of the apartment and the size. But it is quite pricey especially considering that the building doesn't have many amenities

Harold Square - Pretty Great

Great experience; with the construction across the street it has been a little noisy; however, that should subside in the next few months once the building is complete. The apartments are very nice and spacious but the building is lacking in amenities. Cannot beat the location - right across the street from bus stop and in the heart of the commons.

Constant Construction and No Sunlight

The apartment interior is nice enough, modern and clean. But the construction in the building coming up behind it has been going on for over a year with no end in sight. No strict timings are enforced so we've had to hear banging and drilling at all hours of the day (even 4:30am sometimes). The new building itself is just an alley way away from Harolds Square so it has now completely blocked any sunlight we would get leaving the apartment incredibly gloomy. If you're desperate for a modern building/apartment, then sure go for it. But its pretty terrible given these circumstances.

Great place to live but a bit expensive

I have lived in Harold Square for two years now and plan to live here again for my last year of law school. My apartment was very clean upon arrival and repainted. I like the floor plan and that there are large windows. You can hear noise from the commons especially on the weekend nights (if you live on the commons side of the building), but it is not too disruptive. The non-commons side of the building is facing construction which can be loud especially in the early morning.

I love this building. Very close to everything I enjoy and central to most of the restaurants/bars/ events etc.
