Apartment Complex
I like my housing because it is close to school. However, there is no pet allowed policy and I do not like that since I hoped to have a cat. Also no parking near the apartment complex, so if you are driving, you will have to purchase a parking pass.

Meh
Responsive maintenance at least. The apartment was filthy when I moved in, had to spend a weekend cleaning it but it cleaned up decently. Also had to put a new fan in because the base one was an absolute joke. The security is very surface level, anyone who knows about covert entry wouldn't have much of an issue getting into your apartment. Plus side is it's right next to the hospital so it cuts down on commute times, freeing up an hour each day. The parking sucks though, it's a ten to fifteen minute walk to your car, or a 4 minute scooter ride. The management is a bit difficult to deal with but not the end of the world.

University of Kentucky UFlats Graduate Wing
Excellent location with great security. All utilities included, comes furnished with bed, desk, couch, coffee table, TV stand, and bar stools. Includes full kitchen with washer and dryer. Probably the single closest location to the hospital

Graduate Housing
Great place for graduate and professional students to live. A bit pricey, but it includes all of your utilities + is fully furnished. Is very safe and close to the Johnson Center gym and your classes/the hospital. Maintenance is very responsive. The place is quiet because it is all grad students. Like the rest of UK campus, parking is inconvenient and not cheap- you either park at K Lot (which isn't too far) or pay up for an R lot pass for Complex Drive. Studio and one bedroom options. There is a study room on the sixth floor with a beautiful view.

University Flats- Graduate Student wing
Great service and if there are any issues they are fixed promptly. Great distance to UKCOM facilities, only a 2 minute walk outside during cold mornings. I bought a parking pass, which commuting students also buy, but park right next to my building. I also am a 1 minute walk from the gym we have access to as students! Even though it is on campus, it is a true apartment complex, not a dorm!

University Flats
I really love where I live, I couldn't ask for better. I am right across the street from the medical school, the gym, and down the street from the main campus library. I am close to everything. My apartment building is really new and nice, covers all utilities except for parking (you buy a pass through the school), and is all graduate students so is silent. The maintenance staff are really responsive and helpful as well. A a female,I am always concerned about safety in where I live and I have always felt safe here.
