Dearing Gardens
It’s a place to come home to at night. It’s older but I really do love it! No amenities but it really is the cheapest rent this close to school.

It's great if you're willing to skip out on good maintenance for the price
My biggest plus for this complex is that it's very cheap. I don't have a ton of money right now so the price is wonderful for me($355/mo for the smallest room), but you have to be willing not to have ANY amenities, and have terrible maintenance. I've had issues with my laundry machine for months and have asked for replacements and repairs, and they simply cancel my maintenance requests. Sometimes they do help (they've changed broken blinds before), but they chalk up all of the property defects to the buildings being old to get away with not doing anything. I will say, the apartment has amazing natural light and it makes me happy to have that, and I don't anticipate moving out anytime soon.
