Cheap Thrills

Seriously, this place is an old motel probably from the 80s that has been converted into an apartment complex. The units are small (480 sq ft), but they get the job done.
Pros: 15min walk to the law school, relatively responsive landlords, no bugs, low price for being downtown.
Cons: it's old so there's paint chipping and there's some stains on the walls and it just ain't ritzy. The lot fills up on weekends sometimes so sometimes you can't find a spot even though you pay $60/mo for parking. Communal laundry so sometimes you have to wait a while. We've had our ice maker and ac unit break, but the landlord fixed both within a few days.
