Great apartment complex in the "law school dorms" area
This apartment is pretty sweet. The amenities are fantastic, it's super close to the law school, the garage feels really safe and we don't have many break-ins. I never hear my neighbors which is awesome.

Troubadour review
Rent is not cheap at Troubadour, but the management has made the experience 100x worth the price. Living among other 1Ls has transformed my first year experience and I feel sad for my other friends who live in areas further from the law school because I am lucky to get to spend a lot of time with my friends and carpool to law school events together.

Overpriced but good for the area
I wouldnt want to live here if it wasnt walking distance to the school. I like living near other law students and in a building with responsive managment. I feel like I dont have much to worry about in this building. When there is a problem, management makes it easy on me and quickly fixes it. Wish the security guard did more than notify us when our cars get broken into

expensive with a lot of unnecessary expenses
I lived in NYC for 9 years this is the most I've paid in rent ever. I pay $1300 not including electricity and internet. I couldn't come down to Austin in person to look for housing so I decided to just pay more to get a place I knew would be well maintained. Nonetheless it is expensive with random fees for things I never use --like a pizza oven or arcade. I don't have any bug issues and maintenance responds within 48 hours. So I guess that is good but really that should be standard. The law school should offer subsidized housing to students. Tuition is already expensive, as is cost of living. Austin has a crazy rental market. If you want the law school to be more diverse and accessible help people live.

Pretty Good! Much quieter than Aura and the newest and nicest of the "Law Dorms"

Troubadour Apartment Review
Very nice, new building with great amenities. Lots of law students living in the building and it stays fairly quiet at night which is helpful for studying and getting sleep. I feel safe in the apartment, however there have been instances of bar break-ins and a unauthorized people walking around the building. This is to be expected living in the area and apartment buildings near by have the same issues.
