The air conditioning in this apartment is extremely poor, so we each had to buy our own stand-alone A/C units for our bedrooms. Then, the electrical grid for the apartment could not support both A/C units being on at the same time in our bedrooms, so we had to map out the circuits in the apartment with some creative problem-solving, buy extension cords, and run the A/C units on different circuits. Our disposal broke multiple times over the course of the year, although we barely used it. The dishwasher was broken when we moved in. The property management company tried to charge us for these issues, despite the fact that we were using all the appliances appropriately. The small storage unit in the basement that we were assigned was broken into. (The storage units are extremely easy to break into, despite having a lock on them.) When we contacted the property management people, their response was that we should have had a lock on it. We did have a lock on it, and we had a picture clearly demonstrating that the (flimsy) wood was broken, not our lock. Despite this, they offered no compensation or help. We had poor interactions literally at all times with the staff of this company. The rent here is much higher than the value of what you get from this apartment. Highly suggest staying away from this company. The single pro of this apartment is the location - being close to med school and in Kerrytown. Not worth it, though.

Great location in Kerrytown. Quiet and accessible to downtown and the Kerrytown market. Short walk to campus. Good for grad students. The building has recently renovated kitchens which are nice by Ann Arbor standards. The bedrooms are on the small side.
