Poor management but great unit in great location for good price
Management is entirely useless but otherwise the place is great. Unit is incredibly spacious and moderately up to date. Laundry room for the whole building but never too difficult to find an open washer/dryer. Building is a mix of grad students and undergrads. Have had no noise issues--walls are thick. Permit parking ($40 year) always has open spots right next to the building, one block away at worst. Ten minute walk to the law school, quicker walk to all the bars and restaurants. The gamble is if you have a problem management does not respond quickly (or at all) but the unit/price is worth the risk, in my opinion.

Great location
This location is downtown so it is nicely situated near campus and downtown Bloomington. I like that I can walk everywhere (except for the grocery store). It's a pretty small building so it is relatively quite but since it's on a busy street you can hear some outside noise on the weekend.
I pay extra for covered parking.

Review
Great neighborhood and a lovely apartment. The only downside is that the apartment can be very loud because the apartment is within the party neighborhood.

Great place if you aren't a needy tenant
Overall this is a great place if you are not a high maintenance tenant. The hallway almost always smells bad. The washer and dryers are always messed up (only 2 washers and 1 dryer works at the moment). The garage parking is overpriced. The landlords aren't very responsive/helpful.
All that being said, this place is cheap, big, and convenient. The price (one bed) is certainly on the lower side, especially for the size of the place and it's location. The building is close to nightlife, food, and the law school. The room could easily fit a king size bed. The living room could easily fit a couch and loveseat. The wifi provided is fine but if you are a gamer you'll have to upgrade it. Finally, and if you are a prior renter you'll know how important this is, the walls are thick. I don't hear my neighbors at all, and rarely have heard thuds from the unit above. Occasionally you'll here some people in the hallway late night, but it has never once been enough to wake me up or even disturb me.
Overall I would recommend this place.

Don’t use Pavilion
I wouldn’t recommend renting from Pavilion. My rent is extremely high for how small my studio apartment is, and my management company is extremely unkind when issues are brought before them. The laundry in this building (which is already small for the number of units) is constantly out of order, the elevator is down as often as it is working, the “gym” is a closet with faulty equipment, and maintenance requests are not taken very seriously.
My location is amazing and less than a 10 minute walk from the law school, and my apartment is new with modern utilities and a dishwasher; however, I would be extremely wary renting from Pavilion due to the price and the likelihood that you will have issues with management at some point down the line.
