Great For What It Is!
Works great for what it is - a small studio apartment in a very large apartment complex (c. 700 rooms). Everything works perfect and management has always been lovely to deal with. The location could not be better for the Law School.
However, it is very small and relatively expensive. If you need a furnished apartment and aren't stressed about space it would be a great option - but you could find a much larger 1 bed for a similar price no further away.

Nice but small and expensive for what we get. Convenience is main selling point.

Great infraestructure, terrible management
The building is beautiful and has great infraestructure, which is worth nothing given the terrible management. The building is dirty, things don't work if you want to use them, there is no maintanenance, when things break it takes them forever to fix, they simply ignore the renter problems. The acustic is terrible, you will hear your neighboors in all directions, you will know even when they use their garbage disposal. There are no rules, it is a mess, everyone does whatever they want and there is nobody to regulate the mess that is this building, you will have people with dogs at the gym, people screaming in the corridors, people not respecting silence hours. Depending on the location of your room you can always endure loud music (from the bars in the area) the whole night and have trouble to sleep.

Cannot choose the air-conditioner mode, because it is controlled by central AC.

Living at The Broadview
I have really enjoyed living at The Broadview! While my apartment is quite small, it was by far the cheapest I could find to live alone (all in, including utilities/amenities fees). It is also a flat rate per month, so you don't need to predictively budget for utilities. With how busy my grad school schedule is, the tight space doesn't really bother me, and I'm still able to host friends. Plus, there are an abundance of hangout and study spaces throughout the building to offset the cons of studio living!

so expensive for a shoebox
studios are so small and pricey. they said the grocery store would be done in spring 2024 but its fall 2024 and nothing. you cant control your own AC. people at the front desk dont seem nice and i hope i never have to talk to them they dont seem approachable.

Great Location, Amenities and Price But Tiny Apartment
I am very happy with my entire apartment, but the square foot of it is very low. I have had zero issues with management, it feels very secure, and it very close to both Owen and other restaurants/bars.

1 bed / 1 bath
I haven't had many issues living here. They are normally able to respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner. The landscaping, outdoor areas, and trash areas are not maintained well- making it unpleasant to spend time using our outdoor amenities. The study spaces are really nice. I do think that we are paying WAY too much for the size of our apartments, paying $1595 for 250 square feet is unhinged. The apartment itself is tiny but very well laid out, there is still plenty of storage.
