Very affordable apartment; great parking, even for visitors; awesome staff; good amenities; and very spacious rooms; super close to school and very convenient.

Close to campus, has everything you need for an affordable price.
I really do not have any complaints about this property. I plan to live here all 3 years with my roommate, and we love it. We have a pretty large space and the rent is super affordable. With utilities and all, the most I have paid for my share is about $1050. We are 5 minutes away from school, which is a huge perk. The property is more on the smaller side, so maintenance is pretty fast and the staff pretty much knows you by name. Its a "smart" apartment, so you pay for a community bundle that comes with an electric lock that you can access through your phone. You can lock you apartment away from your home, and you have access to the thermostat via the app as well. the bundle also comes with valet trash, so they pick up trash ont eh weekends. There is a pool, a nice gym, and a printer downstairs in the common area.

Excellent Living Situation
I absolutely love living at The Phoenix. It's very close to school, everything is in excellent shape, and the staff is incredible. I have never had an issue with my apartment that they haven't fixed, and the staff is always very willing to help. The apartment itself is very comfortable and well-planned-out.

The Phoenix Review
The Phoenix has some of the best management team I've ever seen. They are kind, thoughtful, and friendly. Maintenance is prompt, communicative, and respectful of privacy. I have never felt unsafe at this location nor had any concerns; the neighborhood is quite good, being next to a school and a park. Security is really good, with all outer door key fob-locked, a gated built-in parking garage, and smart lockers for delivery to store packages in. Our apartment is fairly new and so there is less wear and tear. Management hosts a number of social events with food and games. I especially appreciate that in the weeks before Christmas they put out a free gift wrapping station with high-quality wrapping paper, bows, gift boxes, gift bags, gift tissues, and replenish supplies each day. Only issue is a continuing ant problem. The Phoenix offers (cost built-in to community bundle fee) pest control services once a week that will visit on request. But these ants are tough, man...

Quiet place to live
We enjoy living here. Like all places there are pros and cons. With it being pet friendly (which we need for our cats) you do hear a decent amount of dogs. However, the location itself is quiet from outside noises. Also the staff is great and they promptly fix problems. Their trash pick-up system where you just put it outside your door and they take it away is a nice plus.

Close to school and quiet
The management team at the Phoenix are very helpful and kind. I've had maintenance issues and they were always quick to respond. It's a quiet area nestled within a lot of medical clinics.

Really enjoyed it!
This apartment was the best combination of price and quality I could find. Some other apartments had similar qualities and features, but the management here is really good and that's just the icing on top!

Worth it
A fellow student and I live together. We each have our own private bedroom and bathroom. I’ve made a pro-con list for y’all to consider
Pros:
- management is very responsive and helpful
- trash service five nights a week
- 4 minutes from school
- 8 minutes from Target, West 7th St, etc.
- free parking in a covered garage (although I chose to pay $35/month for a reserved spot because I wanted to guarantee I’d never have to use the stairs). Also your guests can park on the top floor, so that’s nice
- small gym and pool
- the building is pretty insulated and temperature controlled, so you never have to crank the heat or AC in your apartment
- everything can be accessed with a code, so you don’t have to carry keys
- pest control sprays the exterior of the building every week. We had a couple small bugs when we first moved in, so they also came and sprayed inside the apartment for free as well
- the apartment comes with a dishwasher and washer and dryer
Cons:
- this is not the best place to live if you want to go for walks. It’s not unsafe, but it’s not a suburban community either. Plus there’s not really much to walk to anyway
- your bedroom window may face other apartments or the parking structure and it’s not completely soundproof. This normally is not a big deal but occasionally I’ll hear neighbors fighting or dogs barking
- the bedrooms have carpet and people who had pets before you might have left presents in the form of animal fur. When I first moved in my closet smelled so much like cat that I had to detox the carpet with baking soda for a few hours. Otherwise you will occasionally get a wet dog smell in the hallways, though never in the apartment itself
- at night you might hear faint sounds of trains or ambulances
TLDR: I think it’s worth it to live here as a 1L because it’s overall pretty nice, management is helpful, and the drive to school is super fast

It’s good.
Involved management, good location, fast internet. That’s all I ask for.

Cozy, convenient, and accessible!
This apartment is great if you're looking to live near school. It's only a 5 minute drive! The management is great and responsive, we had our fridge break down and they fixed it within the hour. The neighbors are mainly nursing students and doctors so it is very quiet and secure. The apartment is about 10 minutes away from Walmart Neighborhood Market, or SuperTarget. It is pricey for the amount of space you're paying for, but I think it is worth it considering all of the amenities that are offered.
