Great Location and Building
Icon is a great location, just a block off the Square, and has easy access to all the great stores and restaurants in Rittenhouse. The units are all updated with high quality construction, and even with a west facing unit, we have plenty of sunlight. The rooftop deck and conference room are a plus.
Icon has great staff and an amazing management team. Having a responsive management company was one of our top priorities, and Scully has met our expectations. Whenever there has been any issue with our unit, the maintenance team has responded within the day. We had one slightly major issue with a pipe leaking in a vent (no water damage to any of our belongings, just heard some water dripping), and they responded within an hour and discovered that the previous management company put a "band-aid" on the situation by placing a mop bucket in the vent. About 2 weeks later, they had a specialist come in and fully remedy the situation, and in the meantime, they checked the leakage every few days.

Amazing apartment; on the expensive side
Beautiful building, and apartment. I haven’t had any issues with the leasing company they’ve been responsive. Definitely on the expensive side but it is nice to have all the amenities.

Great building!
I love living in the Icon. It’s a block and a half away from Rittenhouse park, the front desk person keeps packages and food deliveries very secure, and the maintenance team is extremely quick. Also, it is not as expensive as other comparable apartments in the area but the quality of the apartment itsself is amazing. My only comment is if you’re looking for a quieter, more quaint street, Icon may not be the best location for you. It is a very popular street with lots of shops and food. However, I can’t hear anything from the street in my apartment!

Good value, relatively private building
Pros: great rooftop with grills and a view of the city, nice units, reliable front desk and maintenance service, located among lots of nice retail shops/bars/apartments, fewer students than most buildings (which was a positive for me), CorePower yoga in building
Cons: slightly farther from University City than other buildings, basic gym, rent goes up annually

Great location
Love living at Icon, enough Wharton students to Uber to class and occasionally run into classmates without it being overwhelming. The common spaces are beautiful and the apartment is awesome, lots to love.

Great area and apartment, unresponsive management
I have been at Icon for about 2 months and am very happy with the building, amenities, maintenance/front desk staff, security and my apartment.
It was a HUGE hassle and stress trying to communicate with management after sending in my rental application and waiting to hear if the application was approved (they were simply not responsive for several days and did not include my broker on communication), but it ended up working out in the end.

Mostly a Great Building
Pros: Very nice apartments, big windows, great rooftop and amenities, and decent pricing for what you get.
Cons: Terrible management and a few blocks further east of where most other law students live.

Rittenhouse Square Reviews
Spruce Street in particular is great - it's a little south of the square, so is quieter/shielded from a lot of the traffic that the neighborhood gets, but it's not out of the way or far away. There's a Starbucks, a grocery store (Rittenhouse Market), and a few corner stores (Four Seasons and Food & Friends) within a 2-3 minute walk of my apartment.
