- Safe, comfortable location bordering on a more residential area with easy access to DuPont Circle and Adams Morgan
Great place
Great place to live, but I wish it was cheaper. The apartment provides many amenities. The only downside is that I wish we had a washer and dryer in unit. I love how dog-friendly the building is. I hope management doesn't try to raise our rent between years.

Cleveland House
I have really enjoyed living in this apartment. Management has been great and are very responsive. The maintenance crew is timely in fixing items that are broken. We did have a problem with mice, but management was responsive and brought in a pest control crew a couple of times and solved the problem. We haven't seen mice since they have come into the building. This literally was our only problem with the building and it has been fixed. Everything else has been wonderful!

Great Apartment
Such a good location, wonderful staff, and a great building. Would not trade it for the world. All utilities are included and the rooms are spacious and get lots of light. A decent mix of people live here: families, young professionals, and it's quiet.

Good building for the price and location
The apartments are spacious and fairly cheap for the area. The amenities are good and management is attentive is seemingly overworked. Overall I rate this apartment building as a 'good value,' especially for Woodley.
It's nice that they have indoor parking as well, though it's a bit pricey in my mind and I advise trying to strike a deal with the leasing office before moving in.
The apartments themselves are great. We have a large living room with a dining room and bedroom. The kitchen is cramped, but efficient, with stainless steel appliances and dishwasher. We end up prepping food in the dining room space, and it's never been a problem. I would personally prefer a washer/dryer in unit to a dishwasher, but the laundry facilities are adequate. Most one bedrooms are probably 200sqft smaller than these, which was a major selling point for us.
Management is responsive, if a bit pushy. The 24 hour front desk is great, and every person I've met who mans it does a wonderful job. They're friendly and considerate (for example we were asking for a package and they called us when it was ready to pick up).
The roof deck is a nice touch, but could be updated or expanded. The gym is small but well-equipped for the casual user. I would not give up for gym membership if you have specific needs.
My only real complaint is the outdoor green spaces. There's a patch of rocky ground between different wings of the building (I assume the roof of the garage) which is very bare and seems ill-used. Stick some grass, some picnic tables, or (wink) a pool and it'd be a wonderful little alcove. It would also probably raise rent prices, however, which is one of this building's strongest selling points.
Overall, if you can stand the slightly longer walk (by about half a block) than some of the other buildings in the area, and can do without high-end amenities, this building is a fabulous choice and I highly recommend it.

Great place to live
Overall, very satisfied. Good price point for a good location. Parking is expensive, so I opted for street parking through the DC DMV. A huge plus is that they allow pets (at an additional fee), which I found in my search that not many apartment complexes do.

Great location, wonderful staff
I love living at Cleveland House! You can't beat the location -- just blocks from the Red line, in a safe neighborhood. Only downside is that your rent will rise each year and you get stuck signing annual leases.

Cleveland House is an excellent building
This has been an awesome place to live! The location is really convenient for Georgetown medical students because it's about 10 minutes to Georgetown, 10 minutes to WHC, and a quick jump onto Rock Creek Park to get to VHC or Fairfax.
The apartment itself is very spacious (800 sq ft) and is updated with modern appliances and central heat and air. All utilities are included (except cable/internet)! The management is really responsive to maintenance needs, and I have never seen a rodent or even a bug in my place.
There is a gym in the building and parking is available for $200 per month. If you are willing to share a double parked spot, you can pay $250 per month for two spots.

Nice apartment in a safe location
Safe, comfortable location bordering on a more residential area with easy access to DuPont Circle, Adams Morgan, U Street, etc. The Woodley Park metro (Red Line) is an 8 minute walk, as are multiple bus lines. The area feels very safe, even when walking alone late at night. The rent includes all utilities and access to the building's fitness center (small but servicable), internet cafe, and rooftop deck. Parking can be a bit crowded if you're not willing to pay lots for a spot, but it's doable. I don't personally have a car and have had no issues getting around, though the commute into the McLean area can take up to an hour on the Red-Silver metro line. A great DC option if you don't mind sacrificing a super easy commute (Arlington) for city-living!
