Price & Convenience

Fantastic price for a 700+ sq ft 1br. Very conveniently located for UMB, although it falls a block outside of the campus police district and you can tell. Doesn't feel like an unsafe neighborhood, but I'm also not typically out after dark. Security locks on the building are broken probably 50% of the time and elevators are not secured.

Finishes in the apartments aren't "luxury" but I would rather have grocery money than granite countertops. I don't use the community spaces much--don't need them when I have a spacious apartment and access to school spaces as a student.

Management is not great, they're slow to fix issues and we frequently don't get warning about planned outages or changes in the rental portal. They also occasionally do sketchy pricing things (like charging late fees sooner than allowed under Baltimore City law, or removing the ability to pay through the rent portal without an ABSURD credit card fee).

I am content to make the trade-offs in quality for the price, given that other similarly located complexes are far less space per $, or only affordable with roommates. If luxury looks and responsive management are your priorities, this is not the place for you.

Student Friendly

The Centerpoint Apartments are very student friendly, just two blocks from all of the University of Maryland graduate schools and still within walking distance from University of Baltimore. The apartments are very safe and the free gym is great. There are a lot of great restaurants nearby.

Affordable, Safe, Downtown Apartment

This apartment building offers a 24 hour gym, printing, security, package delivery, dry cleaning, and so much more. The apartments are spacious and a great price. Mine has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 2 walk-in closets with a good size living room and open floor plan.

Spacious Apartment

Great building with exposed brick walls, detailed window moldings and very high ceilings! pricey considering the surrounding area but overall a good value. My one bedroom is about 850 square feet and I pay 1150/month. I do not have a car, but parking spaces run around $150/month. There are onsite zipcars which are extremely useful and have come in handy many times!

Centerpoint Apartments are great

Great management. Reasonable pricing. The staff (front desk, maintenance, etc) are all great. It is right near the law school (1 block away) and very close to all of the other UMB schools. There is a decent amount of places to eat. Fed Hill, Fells are all within 2 miles. The school gym is very close as well.

Solid for UMB

Good apartment complex for UMB students. Close to the inner harbor as well as walking distance from grad schools and hospital. Good location if you are a student or working at the graduate school. Parking is expensive and the rent is a little high but overall and okay place.

You should live at the Centerpoint apartments!

The Centerpoint apartments have been a perfect move for me! They are located downtown by the harbor and are conveniently located to get anywhere in the city. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, and truly make it the best living experience! It's also great for any students at UMD.

Great amenities and location

I have lived here almost 3 years and I chose this apartment because of the amenities: gym access with flat screen TVs, a community room for parties, dry cleaning services, and package pick up notices - and centrally located within city. Overall I love it!

Great Apartment, Not Helpful In Management Department

I enjoy the apartment that I live in here. It has a great view of Baltimore city and near where I work. But my problem has to do with management handling situations in the "pet-friendly" department. They have received complaints against my dog and have handled the situation very poorly. It is reminiscent of an RA handling a problem among unruly college students in a dorm. It should have been handled more appropriately in the context of the building being labeled as a place for "professionals". That being said, besides my problems with the building being "pet-friendly", everything else is handled top-notch, especially events the building holds, repairs in the apartment, and general nice attitudes towards problems.
