Luxury Hi-Rise with best view of NYC!
I have lived in different apartments in Long Island City (LIC) since 2013. This one has been great. As can be said of other apartments along Center Boulevard, the beauty of living in these high-rise luxury condominiums is that they have a very intimate, community feel with world-class views of Manhattan. You are right along the gorgeous Gantry State Park with views of Queensboro Bridge, Midtown and Downtown Manhattan (Empire State, Chrysler Building, United Nations, Freedom Tower), and Roosevelt Island. You have easy access to the 7 train (10 minute walk from the building and the building also offers daily shuttle service during peak hours from the building to the 7 train which precludes walking on rainy/cold/lazy days). The 7 train stop is Vernon-Jackson and it is literally 1 stop east of Grand Central and with continuing service to Bryant Park, Times Square, and Hudson-Yards. You also have easy access to the east side of the city with East River Ferry. Other metrostops in the area are the E train and the G train; these are a little further (approximately a 12-15 min walk) than the 7 train.
The 4540 building has great management who is very responsive with an on-site office for help and assistance. The building staff is very responsive in terms of picking/storing/sending mail, packages, delivery service, and dry-cleaning. The building staff is great with maintenance requests as well. They have an online portal to put in maintenance requests and to communicate with other folks in the TF Cornerstone community to buy/sell items. This building has an outdoor terrace. Although the building does not have a gym within its walls, you can join a spectacular gym across the street for $50/month and you also get access to a lounge and a separate outdoor courtyard area/terrace for that rate (it is part of the TF Cornerstone property at 4545 Center Blvd). All of the units in the 4540 Building have open-floor plans, stainless steel appliances, and a very modern/luxury feel.
The LIC community is a very rising community with ever-changing/increasing restaurants and bars. You will see plenty of people/couples with kids and pets. If you need parking for your commute, there is a manned/gated parking garage across the street which charges about $275-300/monthly which is very convenient. There maybe other cheaper parking lots in the area, but this is what I use.
Best way to describe this place: if you are looking for a place for a top-notch finishes, a little bit more space, great outdoor park space, and quieter than most Manhattan offerings with easy public transportation access (1 stop subway access) to still enjoy all of Manhattan's cultural/dining attractions, then definitely rent here!

Great views & Easy access to Gantry Park
The building houses Blend Restaurant, yet you don't hear any noise within the building. The 7 train is about a 10 minute walk and the building also offers a shuttle to the subway for those lazy days! Makes for a very easy commute into the city (about a 5 minute ride into Grand Central) Management is quick to fix issues in the apartment. Building terrace offers great views of the city and of course the building is right inside gantry park. Annoying issue is that this is the only TF building in the area without it's own gym. However you can join the gym across the street for around $50.
