Great location. Solid apartment.
The location of the apartment can't be beat. It is surrounded by other MBAs, near the stadium, near the IM Gym, and close to Ross. The rooms are spacious and a good value for the money. Parking is included. There is coin-operated laundry in the basement. I'd recommend it.

Great place, good value
This is a great place. It's 10-15 min walking distance from Ross, 2 blocks from a university bus station if lazy or too cold. Apartments are not brand new but good. Has a parking space. Landlord is very friendly and has helped with any issues we have had.
Only con: no pets allowed.

Old Apartment, But Has Everything We Need. Great Location

Great Apt with a porch
Apts on the higher level always have an advantage of good views from the porch, but also need better heating. Our apartment is great, a little bit of a walk from Ross. But the peace and the large living room, kitchen makes up for it. Comfortable.

Refurnished but old apartment unit
This is an old apartment building and unit for which the landlord has made some improvements to. It has a newly-installed hardwood floor in the bedrooms, but it is an otherwise old building. There are plans to refurnish the bathroom, but not sure when that'll be - as of now, it's kept clean but definitely old. The landlord is fairly responsive to requests, for which there are many given this is an old building. There was an issue with the heating system for two months, but it was finally fixed.

There have been persistent maintenance issues throughout my time in this apartment, but management has been responsive throughout to each of these concerns.

Great Place to Live
Positives
:One of the great things about this place is the location. Situated right by Michigan Stadium, it is about a 12 minute walk to Ross, 15 minute walk to Main St, 5 minutes to the gym, and 2 minutes from The Bus.
The kitchen has a lot of counterspace and the rooms are spacious.
The landlord is also easy to work with. He is very responsive and plows the driveway in the winter.
Negatives:The unit has an air conditioner built into the wall downstairs and no air conditioning upstairs. As a result, the 2nd floor can be very hot and uncomfortable to sleep in.
It is located by the train track so there are nights when a train will go by at 3 am and blow its horn, which can be frustrating.
If anything breaks, the landlord opts for the cheapest way to fix the issue, essentially putting a bandaid on the issue.
