Ross MBA2 living with partner
The 2bed/1bath apartment is spacious for two people. It is in an excellent location, about a 10-minute walk to Ross. Only a handful of Ross students live here, so it is not the most social spot but is centrally located and close to most social areas. Only a handful of Ross students live here, so it is not the most social spot. The building is old, but it is a great value for the location and size. The apartment is partially furnished (bed, dresser, desk, couch). We had to buy quite a lot of furniture to live comfortably. The walls are not thin, but I recommend seeking a top-floor apartment as it is easy to hear walking from the floor above. The management team is frustrating to deal with, but I haven't had to request maintenance or interact with them frequently.

Convenient location, good maintenance
PROS:
Convenient location. My apartment is three blocks from the law school (a 5 to 10 minute walk), a 15 minute walk to the Big House, a 10 minute walk into downtown Ann Arbor, and 15 minute walk to South U. It's a great place to host pre-games for bar nights.
Price. For where the apartment is located, it's pretty cheap. I pay $1650/month for a 2BD and split that with two people (a roommate and girlfriend).
Environment. Generally, the apartment complex is pretty quiet. It gets noisier on Friday and Saturday nights. Not many undergrads live on this stretch of E. Madison, so you don't feel like you're living in a dorm.
Maintenance is quick to respond to requests.
The apartment comes with a garbage disposal, which I love having.
If you want a pet, Wickfield is pretty liberal about pets. They just charge a monthly fee. A lot of people have dogs at my complex.
CONS:
You can't really control the temperature in the apartment. In the winter, the apartment will heat to 78 degrees no matter what you set the heat to. In the summer, the apartment will only cool about 20 degrees and even with that, the air brought in is humid. Living there when it's in the 80's and 90's every day can feel gross.
Each apartment only gets one parking spot. If you and a roommate both have a car, one of you will have to park on the street--and street parking is scarce.
Laundry is in a building behind the complex. There are 2 washers and dryers for about 3 buildings with a total of 32 apartments .
Not ADA accessible. All apartments are up or down a flight of stairs.

Not perfect, but definitely worth living here
Great location--3 blocks from the law school, 10 minute walk to the stadium, 10 minute walk to town. Cheap rate. Apartment is in rather good condition. Well lit. Quiet residents.
Issues with packages being stolen, which is really annoying. My car was burglarized when I left it unlocked by accident. Still, I feel safe there. Apartment can feel uncomfortable in the summer as there is no AC--only a "chiller" unit, which is basically cool water running through the heating system. Apartment won't cool past 72-75 degrees. Office staff of leasing company isn't very responsive, but maintenance staff is great.
Freight train is VERY loud, rolls in between 11 PM and 6 AM a few times per week, but usually doesn't wake me up.
Overall, the apartment is worth living in. I'll be here all three years of law school. If you live here, there will be frustrations, but you'll get a place in good shape, in a great location, and that makes a great gathering point for friends before going out in Ann Arbor.

Close to Ross and Downtown
You're paying for location and simplicity for this apartment. Nothing fancy about the kitchen appliances or features. Fairly large for a one-bedroom apartment, and I was able to fit two couches, a dining table, and weight set in the main living area. Separate bedroom is large as well, with lots of closet space. Situated near Munger, it is an easy walk to Ross or to downtown AA.
