Not enough other MBA students
Good place, close to school. Just no other MBA students live here. Highland square would be better. No gated parking

International student in Gables Rock Springs
The apartment itself and the property were gorgeous. When we were applying for the apartment, we had a lot more paperwork because I didn't have a visa yet. They gave us a very short time frame to fill out the paperwork and send it back which was incredibly difficult with a full time job. When we moved out, they refused to send our security deposit to Ireland and insisted we give a US address even though we all moved home. They also insisted that the check be addressed to all 3 of us which forced us to set up a joint bank account. Overall though, lovely apartment with great facilities, the staff just made certain matters more complicated than they should have been.

Great
Includes a gym, two beautiful pools. Great location - get to law school in 10 minutes. Lots of space and natural light. Nice quiet neighborhood - Virginia Highlands restaurants are very close.

Comfortable and Convenient
Overall they offer everything a student needs, plus it’s a walking distance from campus. The downside is no grocery stores are close enough.

Great!
I love my apartment- we found it during Housing Weekend with my 3 other roommates and we knew we wanted to live here. It's been great!

Convenient.
Close to Emory and relatively convenient. Access to a pool and decent gym is nice. Kind of in the middle of suburbia, not much around. The closest Emory shuttle is the Briarcliff campus shuttle, which is about a 5-10 minute walk depending on where in Gables you live. Having a car is most convenient. Traffic can be bad between 4 and 6ish. Overall a perfectly fine place to live, on par with Highland Square and Post Briarcliff without the convenience of a grocery store within walking distance.

Worth the price!
The only downside is the price, but it’s a 950 sq ft apartment with a pretty large balcony and study room for $1500/month. Walking distance to Emory or you can take the free shuttle so I didn’t have to pay for on campus parking.
