Decent Live Oak Apartments

I've lived her for a couple year nows, and it was great for a long time, but the complex has recently had some theft and safety issues. The new Manager doesn't seem worried about it, which bothers me. The other office staff is helpful and wonderful though! There are a lot of bums that wander around right outside the complex, but don't seem to come inside much. The grounds are maintained pretty well, but if you have landscaping on your individual patios, they will offer to have that trimmed on occaision. All in all it's a decent complex and you can get a lot of apartment for the money.

Spacious and light-filled apartments

Vue Live Oak is a great community to live in, with a beautiful pool and easy parking. The complex is gated (though sometimes those locks get broken) and apartments are spacious with lots of natural light, beautiful hardwood floors and granite counters.

Great value, great location

Apt is great value great location at lower-ish cost. Ammenities are decent enough, fairly clean. Overall it is a good place to live as a young professional working in downtown Dallas. Nsnsndbsbdb s d d d dbdbdbdbdbdbdbdbdndndbfbdnsbdbdbdnsndbdbdbdbfnrjenssn

Great location, excellent management, but could be cleaner

Its a great location however the cleanliness of the halls and stairwells is not very good. The tenants are lazy and throw trash wherever.

The pool and management are great especially Johnny! He goes above and beyond for the residents are remembers you!

The area is becoming gentrified, so some areas feel unsafe while others feel very walkable. There is an upcoming bar scene along Ross. I love that I am close to everything -- Fair Park, Deep Ellum, Downtown, Uptown, White Rock Lake, SMU, etc. I am close to Kroger, Target, Sprouts and Whole Foods. There are TONS of restaurant and nightlife options. I would not recommend using scooters in the streets and to be wary riding a bike. There are few bike lanes and sidewalks end randomly. There are many gyms, libraries and things to do nearby including a few parks and simple trails.

Amazing location. Quick access to 75 and into heart of downtown. Takes only 5 minutes to get to Lemmon Ave, Greenville Ave and Skillman Ave. Area surrounding the property is either residential neighborhood or sketchy gas stations. Shady characters have been spotted on the property peeking in the gymnasium windows. But overall, safe comparable to anything further south.

Apartments in Old East Dallas are close enough to Uptown and Knox Henderson that you get the city vibe without the city prices. Check out Jimmy's Food Store - an Italian grocery store with THE BEST sandwiches and cannolis!

The neighborhood is mid-gentrification. There are areas that have been completely gentrified and areas that have yet to be touched. It is definitely a diverse area with a lot of cool restaurants.

The neighborhood is up and coming so there are a lot of good restaurants popping up in the immediate area. Lots of young professionals live in this area.

The neighborhood is fantastic. The closer you get towards 75 or Fitzhugh is not the best. Camden Henderson is situated in a cozy area.
